Rivers is definitely better than Palmer.
But if you add up career stats, just by the pure brute force of having played for so long, I would take Palmer+Leinart+Sanchez over Rivers + one year of RW + 0 years of Glennon. The yardage difference alone would put their stats higher by probably 10,000-15,000 more yards passing
If you mean which three will put together the best stats for next year alone, I would take the State three.

Sorry guys, if we're adding Glennon, we've got to add Barkley too. I say we wait till this season ends to get a better idea. My .02 7/18/2013 3:19:36 PM |

I keep saying come up with three, because there is only one school for you to come up with. There is only one set of people. That is part of my point, there is only one other school out there that has three quarterbacks in the NFL. And did you read my post I said two different way to look at it. It can be looked at a number of different of ways. That is why I wanted the set of people first and then we can go from there.
^^Yes clearly if the argument was best 4 in the NFL, USC is the only team. But taking the best three available, I have State if we are looking who I want on my team today.
And Jaybee, that top post on the page is what I was looking for. Come up with three and do the different comparisons. It is in now way a black and white answer, so discuss how it is.

no... he said three in the last decade, not three currently playing. Brady, Henne, Robinson, and Henson (and no, not saying they are better, just naming three+)

^^ Two things, first I think I am one of few people who would get that name reference without having to google. And two, I can admit I was wrong because we would be arguing about two completely different things if I didn't. And is kinda worthless arguing about different things. We may both be right about what we are arguing about, but still won't see eye to eye. 7/18/2013 3:31:31 PM |

Tulloch over Mayo? no way

Meacham and Moore are average like Cotchery, I was just objectively giving Witten his props
I'd say Tulloch is a little better than Mayo though...I mean Mayo has more tackles, but duh, he's an inside linebacker and Tulloch is an OLB 7/18/2013 3:58:28 PM |

aside from Ray Lewis, who are the great AFC inside linebackers Mayo is going up against for voting? 7/18/2013 4:08:29 PM |

maybe the AFC is weaker than the NFC when it comes to inside backers? you make it sound like Mayo is Patrick Willis, but just happens to be in the AFC
hell, Luke Kuechly led the entire NFL in tackles last year and didn't even make the Pro Bowl, thats how stacked the NFC is with linebackers

Last 5 seasons:
Tulloch 430 tackles 7.5 sacks 2 forced fumbles 10 recoveries 3 INT
Mayo 428 tackles 7.5 sacks 8 forced fumbles 5 recoveries 3 INT
Almost identical numbers but Mayo is clearly better objectively. 7/18/2013 4:43:25 PM |
