I got hit up by work security team because I transferred 30GB on my network connection last Thursday. It was my cloud sync of my photos from my external HDD at work to my OneDrive and then back to my home connection. They never give us a bandwidth report, but they do check to make sure its nothing inappropriate or unknown.

^^Yay! Hope Cary is first. I plan on going door-to-door to get neighbors to sign up early. After all the popcorn and crap I've bought from the little hellions around here, it's about time they bought something I'm "selling"

I could have really used it today. First time downloading an entire Xbone game. It's pegging out 30 Mbps, but only 41% after 2+ hr.

It does look like they're sticking to the timelines of their earlier roll-outs though. I'm a bit bummed about that.

Similar for me. 1.8mi shortest path, or 2.1mi using more major roads. 1.3mi straight line though.
I'm told the serviceable distance from one hut is ~20,000 homes and a 5mi radius.

^^ All they are doing now is laying fiber. Theyve yet to install the central offices where all this will come together. And all the fiber now is trunk lines, not to the house. Its still gonna be months if not a year or so before this gets to your house.

It's not just the gigabit, they also offer TV for cheaper.

Based on my home setup I'd probably save $50 a month while getting better internet and more channels.
