I thought the main reason everyone defends MMORPGs to the end is that there is constant updated content, and since you're paying monthy for a game you have great customer service and response time. From what I'm hearing, they are treating it more like diablo, which is what I would expect from a game that isn't pay-to-play

I'm kinda glad I stopped playing

Our MC raid (1/2 for the alliance, 1/2 Purge (my guild))...


we had lucifron (our 2nd try ever) and some fuck face from the other guild aggro'd the room behind us and got about .... 15 level 61 elites on us . we wiped in a quick 10 seconds. Our main tank died and I had to take over but my priest crashed so only had focus heals from pallies on me and died from an uncured magic.











it was a lot of fun, good experience. I WILL NEVER DO MC/ONYXIA with ANY MERGED GUILD again. Their guild was so immature it was sickening. It's all IN-HOUSE now since we have about 80 level 60's in our guild now. We're beating Luci this coming Friday and I will host the video of me main tanking that bitch.

Lvl 38 pally tried to gank me while I was fighting basilisks in SF tonight. I'm 32.

That fucker chased me all the way to 1k needles, but I kept throwing dots at him and got him down to like 1/4 health before he ran away.

The game lost all fun when the teleport hacks came out allowing casters to teleport to a high Z coordiniate and AE/Cast down on the melees. Ive personally witnessed this in action and watched a mage go from 1-60 in 5 days

I am lvl 25 on Nethrazim and I finally got my first kill on a pvp server. I got jumped by a lvl 28 druid who I ran around through the river at an angle that the mob would agro her. She didn't realize it until i turned to fight and she stopped. It promptly made our fight even and I won. So happy about that.

Anyone a miner/smith? Where's good places to mine and good skillups?

it also amuses me now that i've noticed my roommates (ranging from 46-58ish) now have to plan out when they play, because every single instance or quest they do takes at least 2 hours+. I don't think it should be like that. I mean, granted in the beginning it was easy to gain levels, so a quest could be just running from one town to another, but still...2 hours??

^^If this was Everquest, then it would be more like "Ok we've got to sit here outside this hut for 8 hours, because this boss has a spawn rate of 8 hours. And after that we have to run across the world to kill a dragon. That should take another 4 or 5. Ready, go!"
