grats me having to play our MT instead of my main since he's out of town and is 1 of the 2 AR tanks....of course solarian dropped her warrior trinket

solarian = ez......vashj = lurning curve, decently hard, but overall pretty simple

so.. question for ya... I've got different answers from several people.

I'm lvl 50 warrior and I just got a new weapon. Its got the same exact mods on it that my other axe has one it (15 str/14 stam), but one swings at 2.8 sec and has 39 dps while my current axe swings at 3.6 sec and has 35 dps.

So the question is: if two 2h axes for a warr have the same mods, do you pick the one with higher DPS or higher damage (but swings slow hence lower dps)

The one i'm using now is the whirlwind axe and the new one is a green from a quest.

mmm <3 whirlwind axe back in the day. As an MS warrior im pretty much always looking for the weapon with that higher top end damage rather than DPS...altho this is more from a PVP point of view. You dont get the constant attacks you do with PVE dps, so you want to maximize your single hit dmg. Grinding, higher dps weapon can sometimes outweigh, but with what you gave me, Id go with the whirlwind, but can you please list the dmg range on btoh?

So I've never done any of the big instances. Just out of curiosity, if a guild goes through, say, Molten Core, and clears it, does the boss drop enough shit for everyone doing the instance or does only one person get the benefit of a cool drop?

Raids can have anywhere from one boss to a dozen, and each boss usually drops one or two epics.

Dont expect to do any level 60 raids anytime soon.

in the old days pre BC most bosses usually dropped 1-2 Tier set pieces (or a token for a set piece) and anywhere from 1-3 non-set items (like rings, trinkets, offset armor, weapons etc.) Now not every boss in an instance drops set pieces or tokens. But in general its usually like 1-2 purples for insignificant bosses and ~4 epic items on say a final boss.

because no one raids them anymore, except maybe once in a blue moon for random fun. the level 60 raids were meant for level 60 and only drop gear that was good for level 60 then..its not even worth the time to get it with the expansion out. any raiding that is being done is only being done in lvl 70 instances

My parents are getting me a new computer, and game me two to choose from (HP's from Sam's because they have some crazy coupon or something). Neither were really what I wanted, but they were do-able with an added video card. About the same except for the size. And I actually said "I think I'm gonna get the slimline, because it will be so much easier to carry to LAN parties for raids and stuff..."
