I pretty much agree with you. People still haven't come to realize that TBC is much, much different than level 60 raiding. Off-specs are no longer off-specs. An enhancement shaman, shadow priest, or survival hunter will bring far more damage to the raid than simply a mage. Not only will those "off-specs" do excellent damage themselves, but they bring the DPS of other classes way up.

If you're still dwelling on "all hybrids are terrible, spec holy/resto or go home," you need to learn some more about the game. The best guilds in the world *require* the raid to have these off-specs, because they are so valuable to the raid.

In fact, the entire post is crying about how only one spec is viable for druids in endgame raiding. If a class only has 'one spec', a spec which I already stated earlier was probably the mainstream druid spec now, then it would be considered 'off-spec' to be anything else...like oh, resto.

You can keep saying it's "too easy," but you're still an idiot. Restoration isn't an off-spec. There are plenty of top raiding guilds that still use restoration druids - Nihilum is not the only guild out there. I doubt you're in a top 50 raiding guild, yet you think you can just quote someone on the Nihilum forums and be an expert.

maybe the enhancement shaman you play with suck (even tho i dont know how...dpsing as an enhance shammy is about the simplest thing in the world besides watching your aggro). the guild im in now isnt a 'top world guild' anymore (especially taking the 2 mos off from PVE progression for arenas when BC came out) but the core of this guild was at one point getting Horde US top 5s in BWL, AQ40, Naxx etc. And is still doing well, working on progressing through and finishing The Eye. And one of our top couple DPSers is always a dw enhancement shaman, and this was before he just got his T3 smithing hammer yesterday.

its hard for me to make a good comment on that. we dont have many hunters in the guild that PVE, and the one we usually bring is our guild leader..who recently switched from his pally/shaman mains and really isnt that good dpswise honestly. so if youre saying good as in dps, i cant make much of an informed opinion.

A lot of people still play Asheron's Call 1. It received a graphics update (though not very impressive) a couple of years ago. Quinn was playing it again not too long ago, I don't know if he still is or not.

Absolutely no one plays Asheron's Call 2 anymore. It's not even possible. Turbine took down the servers (which they had reduced from, I think, 11 to 3 (one for each pvp type)) because it was costing them so much more to keep the servers up than they were getting in.

I liked EQ2 during the open beta, can't say I got farther though, had too much invested in wow. I would prefer a game with decent graphics and immersive/entertaining pve akin to ddo or something. Man, that narration was epic.
