there is a little cave corner right when you come in

make a macro to target the boss (i forget his name)

a warlock life taps, a healer throws a low rank HoT on the warlock (puts him combat at well, and the imp pulls aggro through the wall

the boss warps the group and they end up out of combat but near the boss. Sometimes it won't warp everyone, so you might have to summon.

^^ i used to have fun pvping but before surpassing 100k HKs, getting exalted in every BG since way back when they opened, getting high warlord in the old system, and hitting gladiator rank in the arena. so battleground PVPing for me now is kinda meh.

the arena is less enjoyable too after the conclusion of the first season. but i still do it extremely casually, and im just trying to snag a couple of the new epic honor pieces and AV just bores the crap out of me anymore.

as far as i see it, until they come out with a new bg in which you earn new rewards, blizzard doesnt deserve any more of my time for straight up honor rewards so i have no guilt in afking in the bgs these days. i never really afkd in there during my HWL run tho or acct shared

I dunno, I think they really missed an opportunity with world pvp in TBC. Halaa could have been so much better if they added more utility to the island. Zangarmarsh is a joke on all 3 servers I've been on, and Hellfire is only active for like 30 minutes a day at most.

they should consider making some 5 or 10 man daily quests that involve raiding cities or some other pvp-oriented objective.

^I've suggested this many times on the forums. The problem is, I think, that Blizzard wants to cater to the casual player and putting insane options like city pvp would just be ridiculous. Can you imagine logging into Orgrimmar on your level 23 character only to find the city in ruins occupied by Alliance?

I suggested putting an objective (a.k.a. flag) in the center of a city, say the Cleft of Shadow for Orgrimmar. Alliance has to assault the city and hold the flag for at least 10 minutes. If they do so, the city becomes "ransacked" and for the next 24 hours Alliance cities give a 10% discount on everything and Horde cities cost 10% more.

To do this though, they'd have to get rid of the stupid things that make city pvp impossible, mainly the 2523423423 guards that come out of nowhere when you assault a city, and the graveyards that lie 10 miles away.

more interesting drops for city bosses would, imo, help a little...

stuff like "One armored and one unarmored racial mount per city dead city boss" would at least give you some stylistic rewards for world pvp, even if it's not really going to be helping you raid anytime soon.

gold farming setups wouldn't need three monitors, at least not for a good bot program. and running 47 bots at once is a drop in the bucket with all the servers/factions out there. you'd need more computers than that, or to disable the graphics completely and run multiple instances on one computer...

might be done, we'll see. nothing left for me to do in the game really. we're doing fine raiding wise (ssc cavern down, still working on the eye) but the raiding is just not for me anymore. the arenas were awesome last season. i put most my time in game into them, and we did really well, however all my teams are about disbanded this season.

so unless i find another quality arena team or 2 might be the end for now
