At the beginning of the game, you can accomplish stuff in ten to fifteen minutes. Your roommates are in the endgame. If somebody is 58, there's only two levels left to go. Period. They are close to the top of the heap. Is it not understandable, then, that the highest level quests in the game take a significant amount of time?


I had to get from Orgrimar to the Wetlands last night, with no flight paths on the eastern continent. God damn, that sucked.

I mean, ganking, it happens, but if you have eight--that's EIGHT--level sixties, shouldn't you be doing something productive? Is it that neccessary to swarm a lvl 32 when your rogue could kill me with one hit?

I did a 5v5 in the arena last night with over 100 people watching. We fought one round of a best of 5 (we won) but by the time we went to do round 2, we had 260 people or so watching.

It was too laggy to fight, so me and the guildleader of the guild we were fighting (another alliance guild) decided to just kill every horde in the arena. We announced the attack in yells and the server came to a halt.

Blizzard is actually taken steps to make the blizzard.net kiddies go away. You act like a 2 year old you get treated like one. You got the adult version of a time out.

As far as ganking I just joined a guild called Dark Demise and we went around attacking 5 cities last night. Fun as hell. They invite all levels, though most are high up. Not like it takes long.

Okay, so I have just hit level 30 and I have sort of at a loss as to where to go next. I checked out the area level map and then checked on the quests in that area but none were very accomidating for someone right at 30. I am a NE so I want to add to my Telrassil fame as much as I can. Anyone else have this trouble?

Seriously though, folks. I'm probably going to renew my account. I recently joined a much better guild that actually has people online at prime times. The annoying lag is still getting to me, and Blizzard shutting down the server at 11pm last night (a prime time for people to be online) is inexcusable. They really need to get their shit together. I don't think any MMORPG release has been handled this badly.

The best part is my roomie does it 80 yards SW and is still going since before the basketball game last night. I killed one too many hunters/warlocks (very hard to code around classes with pets, the memory ids are weird). Ill tell ya when they email me that ive been perma banned, seen as im sure the other bannings i got dont help my case lol. I botted for the last 13 levels or so for those wondering and would most def. do it again. Quest or no quest that shits boring.

I mean, you're paying per month to play a game, why write a program that will play for you?

I admit, I've botted once before, but that was with Diablo. I had the meph bot, and the pindleskin bot, and would let it run a few days at a time, but then I got every piece of good equipment, and there was no thrill whatsoever to the game anymore.

It seems like to me botting is basically the same as paying someone else to level your character, or buying an account off of ebay

I guess I don't get it

Got my Warden Staff yesterday! Almost up to 8K AC... I just need to level more so I can do the Battle of Darrowshire and get the 300AC Ring of Protection. I'm thinking about trying to solo princess in Mauradon, since I still need the Charstone Dirk... I've heard that's not very hard for a druid to do... it'd just take forever.

I kinda feel bad about winning the Twig of the World Tree on Friday now... it's a great mace, but Warden Staff is so much better. *shrug* Guildies also brought me the Wildheart gloves last night.

First time you do a collection quest
First time you do a kill quest
First time you PK someone
First time you do an instance
First time you up a trade skill really high
First time you mount
First time you sell something at the auction house for 100x it's value to some idiot

I mean...isn't that pretty much it? From then on, you're just collecting harder to get things, killing harder to kill things, PKing higher lvl people, doing instances that take like 2+ hours for each one, and then just making higher up things to sell in the auction house

I dunno, I guess it's all how you look at it

Because the game's not fun, the high end content sucks, and when you pay by the month it's sort of stupid to cancel your account midway through that month.

However, a bot can be set up on a spare computer, run and make money and then that can be passed on to those who still enjoy the game.

What I don't get, Grady, is how you now insist on going on about how crappy the game is and how much it sucks, when you only quit because you didn't think you'd have the self control to resist playing it during school.

Rather you should look at it this way:

You're paying 16 bux a month to have fun.

Well everything in the game seems to be geared to lvl 60.

Be it PVP or high lvl instances that drop (to be implemented) phat lewts.

Well getting to 60 is one long, boring grind.

Its pretty boring.
