Latro's is actually better than a lot of epic swords. The extra fast speed more than makes up for the stats and dps of an epic weapon up to about 80 dps (speed of 1.6-1.5).

Latro's is infinitely better than felsteel.

if you can get the arena 2 offhand then go with it, it's a bit better than latro's, if not save up for the MH sword for season 2 and use latro's with it.

So many choices, my mage was much easier since I could gear him out in so many epics I could craft, same with my shaman, rogue not so much without going LWing which is a PAIN IN THE ASS might I add lol. I may just grab the offhand from arena next week and try for that MH from SH and try to save up for an armor piece or something, I like fists with the extra 5% crit and what not so I would like to stay, just seems like if I went swords and blew some money I might could get a quicker increase... meh we will see.

if you're going swords go full combat swords, don't bother with a MH fist. I messed around with it for a little while and there was really no damage increase and it actually went down.

sorry guys, been a while since i posted about moonkin.

i wasnt saying i want moonkin to outdps or even equal the dps of a lock or mage. but i do want them to give raid leaders a GOOD reason to bring a moonkin along. add a mana return to the moonkin aura, like leader of the pack has a health return. that is a logical, quick fix that immediately adds viability. of course it wouldnt be fair to let a hybrid class peform just as well if not better than a pure class. thats not what i'm saying. what i AM saying is give that hybrid class something that makes them worth bringing along. obviously we wont get started with the problems of druids in pvp, as evidenced by the representation at blizzcon for arena.

I agree, they tried to do that with a lot of the hybrid classes, I guess they did with moonkin with their +crit aura kinda like an elemental shaman totem, hybrid classes should be able to help out in different areas of need, while providing buffs to the rest of the group I agree. I suppose a small mana return wouldnt be a bad idea like you said feral I enjoy with my rogue because I can heal myself .

I definitely would like to see such this macro though , playing AV on a prot paladin isn't much fun........hell, playing AV isn't much fun alliance side because we're all retarded apparently. My last game on my shadow priest was 1 hour 45 minutes >_>.

Speaking of macros, do any of you know a string that would equip a certain weapon if i right clicked it and equip a different weapon if i left clicked it?

if I had to guess, this is an AutoIt script. google it, it's easy. also, if you want to go swords and raid/pvp with a shaman, that blinkstrike is going to be insane. blinkstrike is a 90+dps weapon with sword spec because of all the extra procs (procs can proc off themselves). I would offhand latro though. another option if you don't have gold is to get the MH fist from kargath in SH heroic. it's called the bladefist. also, you could roll with latro OH and that or reflex blades MH and put 5 in sword and 5 in fist spec. you'll technically do more damage than if you had the points into poison talents as the sword procs an extra fist swing. just dont waste money on felsteel, it's terrible.

I had a nice script that auto joins/q's for AV and then keeps you from going AFK. The one I wrote would switch armor sets from a low stam set to a high stam set and then heal myself as not to show up as zero's on the scoreboard. It would also automatically promote someone else in the raid if I was raid leader (as to not draw attention to myself). I also had it use the trinket to recall me to the home base so I wouldn't be sitting in the cave.

I used it for 120k honor without being reported. I used a scriptable macro program (could use variables and run if statements based on pixel colors on the screen), an auto mouseclicking program, and BGhelper addon to do all this. Not very hard to do.

I have my t3 mace.. it's a shame it just sits in my bag since the arena weapons are better I think the dragonstrike proc rate should be buffed since it requires raiding to get the pieces to upgrade it. The low ppm just simply cant justify the lack of stats atm

If by cheater's choice you mean people who like to get reported (more likely to be caught) than yes. People who don't want to get caught go to whatever lengths they can not to be noticed. As it is now AFK botting is only a 3 hour ban on first offense (3 people I know have gotten this).

So did I hear right that in season 3 you will no longer be able to buy arena weapons unless you are on a team with a 1900+ rating? If so I suggest you start saving up quick if you are like me and only play your 10 games a week or so. Oh and I think I am gonna do what you suggested, try to get the MH from heroic shatt halls and pickup the offhand arena fist weapon next week. In the meantime finally hit 375 LW with my shaman so time to start epicing him out with craftable gear.

but then again people will sell spots on their successful team or just make a job of getting a team up to like 2000, then selling it and starting over
you could prob lose 10 games @ 2000 and still maintain enough of a rating to become eligible for weapons

^^the amount of games is hard to predict. you could pull teams ranked higher than you over those 10 games and only lose 20-30 TOTAL points going 0-10. you could also pull teams lower than you that have your number and lose 200+pts if you go 0-10. completely depends on the draw.

last season when i was doing it competitively there were plenty of nights we would go something like 30-4 and LOSE points or break even or something (ie hardly anyone playing but really low ranked teams giving us 2-3 points, one or two would eventually get a fluke win(usually a DC) and we'd be down points on the night). then there were also nights we would go 20-20 and it looks like a terrible record but it would be us vs 3 of the other top 5 teams all night going back and forth.

so its EXTREMELY hard to tell anything by pure record

I'm not sure if I'm going to just go into all arena mode and stop raiding until xpac comes out. pvp gear is usually better for leveling anyway since it's stam heavy. we've hit road blocks at vashj and kaelthas for the last couple weeks now and for what? 90% of the gear is side grade or very very minute upgrade. I'd love to be in hyjal or bt but I'd have to server transfer for that. I am enthused about the shaman changes though, I think I'll go ahead and start gearing mine.
