It's not horrible looking, though I don't think it will work as well as a pure combat build for farming stuff.

Right, but the problem with the combat spec is I get destroyed in arena and battlegrounds so I was looking for something a bit more in between. Also I dont farm as much now that all my 70's are decked out in all their craftables for the most part, well until my shaman comes across some more nethers that is

pve is like doing naxx-style complicated fights as a 20-man raid and less of the tank-and-spank of 40-man MC. the height of pve difficulty was probably naxx.

pvp is less about having 4 people play your acct in shifts 24/7, and more about skill.

skill all goes out the window when you face a team who's decked out in full season 2 epics and weapons. you could be the best pvp'er on earth, and still not be able to beat someone who's much more geared than you are.

In my opinion, complaining about someone being decked out in Arena gear in the Arena setting is NEVER a valid argument. How did they get their gear? They earned it by being good in the arena. Even a very mediocre team can have full season 2 gear right now. So if it was just the gear beating a team it shouldnt be a factor now. Sure by the end of last season we were top of the battlegroup and in full arena gear, weapons, ranged, shields, etc. But we started in greens and blues and earned it along the way by beating people with similar gear. And those complaining at the end of the season that the top teams out-geared them: if you were good enough to compete with the top teams you wouldnt lack the arena gear now, its the truth.

oh and for an example, since i dont really play, i log on once a week to do ~10 arena games with a shaman friend of mine just for points in 2v2. Our rating has been pretty bad (1700-1900 bounce all season, he just goes pewpew spec and one of us ends up dying fast haha) and I still have full arena season 2 (5/5 gear) and 3k points saved up. And this is with a crappy rated *2v2* team.

I'm not really complaining, more like stating. It just seems like skill is a secondary factor in pvp sometimes, especially when you have matchups like vs. pally/warrior, or a rogue 1v1'ing a warrior. PvP will never be balanced in an mmorpg i've come to accept, so I don't really get upset over it anymore.

I have DST, abacus of violent odds (though I usually use the VR trinket), haste meta gem, and a crystal weave cape. good think I didn't overwrite my 15agi with 10 haste like I was planning..

Ah so today is patch day? Oh and we dont do 2v2 arena like its out job, we play 10 games a week and thats about it. It doesnt work out too bad typically we can take one person out in about 5 sec then its game over, obviously if that doesnt work though then it can get ugly. Most weeks we got 6-4 or 7-3 unless we get lots of warrior/paladins, and blade's edge is NOT melee friendly and we sure as hell get stuck in there a lot.
