meh, just telling how it is. 6400/2GB/8800GTS and i never have probs.

why not double your ram, especially since you just went on the whole rant about keeping wow off your virturam. even with my old ass 30gb fragmented to hell raptor i never have anything to bitch about.

3200+/1.5GB/6800GTOC wasn't all that horrid either.

Those were the days when I could simply log onto my hunter (long since deleted) and just doodle around aimlessly for a bit and then log yet get a few quests done. But now I am confident that I play WoW far more regularly than I ever played FFXI. It is interesting that you bring that game up because I have been tempted to install if again just to see how nice it looks on my new laptop.

Except that I don't know anyone over there and I still don't speak Japanese and I wouldn't be heavily involved given a 5 day WoW raiding schedule. I may just wait for Hellgate: London and Tabula Rasa.

We're alliance as well (shutter). I also raid 2-3 days a week on my BE mage helping a guild do Kara and Gruuls. It isn't that I am bored with WoW. I just want something fun/different to do. I think the next patch will help a lot with the expedition of leveling. I could finish off the 54 shadow priest or play my rogue (both on horde )

My guild has been doing kara since April and not one warlock has even seen t4 drop (hero has dropped when there have been no warlocks there). Pretty annoying. Last night we got 2 Belt Patterns in 1 trash pull in SSC. Two weeks ago we got two of those +1300 Health trinkets in one pull and 2 patterns in the trash after lurker.

ahh, i dont think i have ever been fucked this hard by a patch, and that says something.

Heres to hoping not all of those changes to orc racials, warrior talent trees, and me mace spec don't all happen.

My "well they nerfed my haste proc, if they nerf my pvp hammer to much i can at least go axe and get the free + hit raiding" plan seems to have also gotten crapped on.

Mace spec needs to be nerfed, every warrior I know agrees as well. As much instant damage as they can do they shouldnt be able to stunlock you as well. If it was procing once per fight ok maybe... but seriously when I have a dedicated healer and have it proc 4 or 5 times so I dont even have a chance to get away, then there is a problem especially since when I finally do manage to get out of it I know all I am gonna have happen is intercept stun and then it all starts over.

^^^ yes i can't be wasting my pvp trinket to get out of stun, i need to save it for hamstring (im a rogue). but seriously though its like, i can put a dent in the warrior as it is, but its like he'll mace stun me, and then basically get a free attack round, which usually goes like this

**** hits you for 1086
****'s Mortal Strike crits you for 2665

so its like, an open window to deal out 3.5k dmg without me being able to avoid it somehow.

Also, if you've noticed, the raw stats on deep thunder make it equal to Mooncleaver and Lionheart Executioner (or whatever the tier 2 sword is), the extra stun effect on it makes it overpowered. (Hence why 90% of warriors have DT).

Ok so how is this personal arena rating going to work? I was under the assumption that you simply had to have that rating to buy it, but based on the fact its actually listed on the item sheet I would assume this means if you arent on a team with an 1850+ rating you cant actually use the item... or am I completely off base here?

you get 1850 on your team from 1500, if your team starts at 1600 and you stay on it to 1850, your personal rating is still ~1750. get the rating to buy the weapon/shoulder, never worry about rating again

Nice, that seems like the perfect way to do it. This coming from someone who is sure never to see any of those items haha. This will prevent shitty people from buying their way onto teams for the most part. Only loophole I see is people starting up teams and losing them down to like 1200 and then invite some people on and work up from there or something, but overall I'd say its a pretty fair way to reward those teams who can work up to a high rating.

yeah its just to eliminate the good raiding/arena guild letting nubs buy their way onto good teams.

the nubs could lose 10 times and then the ringers win most of the other 20 matches and net a ton of points. not anymore.

You could get your helm/chest/legs/gloves/ranged(non-hunters) or 2 hander(hunters)/s2 weapon/s2 shoulders the gay way though

Finally picking up my main hand claw to finish off the set on my rogue, hopefully it should make a rather noticeable difference

The question is what enchant do I throw on it, agility, +7 dmg, maybe mongoose so I have it on both weapons hmmm choices

I am 2h ms warr and it's kinda nice having dw on arms side, but i REALLY like flurry which still requires the same amount to be put into fury tree. maybe could spec all arms, but no need really when flurry is better than pretty much anything below MS

i dont think that the DW move is going to change much. we all already had it, we will all still have > 21 points in fury. I think fury DPS is going to suffer because of it, either they give up rampage, or they give up deathwish, both are going to drop down their dps (but dont worry, we have threat reduction now...)

That said, anyone have a link to the new warrior talent trees.

well yea it hurts fury for raiding. and i dont have the talent trees in front of me, cant view them at work, and because im barely playing i havent respeccd in a long time. but im trying to think from memory. I was 35/23/3 for most of BC in the arenas (was flurry some but not having TM sucked for me personally in pvp/arenas).

The main reason I went that far in fury was primarily for deathwish(21 pts in) and improved intercept (23 points in). Since intercept and deathwish are both moving over, having the improved damage on MS, lower cooldown on MS, and (even as much as ER sucks as a 41 pt talent) ER might be worth it if you already have DW and imp int. to go along with them. (they are NOT worth getting over dw and imp int now of course).

You mainly give up sweeping strikes(and good players in 2v2 and 3v3 are spread out...5v5 is harder to orchestrate that a lot) and weapon mastery(which sucks now anyways in the next patch).

still have Tier2 smithing axe because i passed on all my nethers back in ssc since i knew i was cutting back soon :/ (but i could get them anytime if i asked). I also have the Season 2 mace because i was capped out at points and its got good stats for being a mace.

im thinking a mace (with the improved rage gain on mace spec), with anger management, and ER would be a ton of rage to be dumping out.
