it's mostly because there were too many crybaby noobs who don't bother to cc the rogue while hes AR'ing. i got chain polymorphed during a 2v2 by a player who knows how to play, and it screwed me over so bad. people who just get killed because they don't know how to play their class just cry cry cry till shit gets nerfed.

random question
my laptop used to play WoW perfectly fine, but as of a week or so ago (maybe since the last patch) when I load the game (and only IN GAME) the screen flickers like crazy and then crashed to some fatal error that prompts that annoying blizzard error submit thing.
i've tried messing with the video settings, but i have everything turned down and theres only one available refresh rate that I could even use (same rate as my monitor, so yeah)

any suggestions?

I use HealBot and you can bind heals to the middle mouse button and they don't work. Could be an addon issue.

if it's a programmable mouse make sure the function is set to Auto Scroll, iirc. Or if you can assign a key to it, that works as well.

no, its just a regular wireless logitech mouse. I did install the software that came with it though (and updated driver).

I'll try to bind a button to it through bartender. I have a macro for my prayer of mending on the tank.

wow had trouble recognizing the buttons in front and behind my scroll wheel on my mouse. i went into the logitech software and essentially edited what is read by wow when using those buttons. so that the + button was read by my computer as me pressing [ and the - button on the mouse was read by wow as ] (2 buttons i had no keybinds too) and then i assigned keybinds that i wanted to [ and ] and thus i just use the +,- mouse buttons for those keybinds.

for my G7 and MX revolution I start at the middle mouse button change it to keystroke assignment F5 and I just work down the list until I get to F9 or so. That made it a lot easier for me since I use so many abilities as mouse buttons or shift/ctrl/alt derivatives. This was great once I figured out to start with F5. Using F4 as my thumb button and having frost nova as CTRL-Thumb really fucked with me for the longest time when I would accidently hit ALT sometimes in a panic. WHY THE FUCK DOES THIS POS GAME KEEP CRASHING?!?!

I started a baby paladin (level 28) and warrior (level 10, lol) to level over Christmas break. Guild took down Hydross and Lurker tonight and we're taking it easy over the holidays so I should have plenty of time. I think once I get them leveled, four 70s should keep me pretty busy.

My shammy picked up [Boots of Effortless Striking] and [Choker of Animalistic Fury] off Lurker. It was a good night.

I think we're going after Mag next.

I need a new chestpiece and shoulders in a bad way. I've had those same ones since shortly after BC came out. A new shield wouldn't be bad, either.

I seem to recall having bought a Depleted Sword just before I took a break from playing. Turning it into the Crystalforged Sword was supposed to be such a nice weapon for tankadins. Wonder if it's still viable?

I can't stand leveling. I'll usually just bot a character to 70, borrow a buddy's end game toon they don't play anymore, trade one of mine for the class I want to start playing, or buy one (horrible idea, such a waste).

I actually leveled a rogue and raided on it, got bored around the expansion so I activated this kids warrior he never played and lernt dat, then hit the TBC beta with a 60 mage and lernt dat, bought a 70 UD frost mage and raided kara wit some of u kids, then botted a goat fire mage, and now hunter 60-70. Though I really do want to level a healing class and I know that I can't really start out end game with that. I'd be too worried I'd wipe groups and get blacklisted by 17yr olds and what not.

I get outhealed everynight by a paladin (depending on if i'm not spamming circle of healing or not). He just stacks +healing and +spell crit gear.

i was definitely not a casual player until this past summer and i still only have 1 70 orc warrior. same name, same server since day 1. and essentially the same guild since 6 mos or so after the game came out.

highest alt is like a level 10 orc warrior bank alt haha. i dont even remember how or when i got him to 10

It is indeed viable still. For tankadins the beginning sword for raiding is a choice between Continuum Blade and the Crystalforged Sword, both with +40 spell damage on it. Your Honor's Call is pretty much worthless for you...and most of your enchants are as well. You hold aggro with spell damage, not attack power, and you don't need any intellect or mana/5 since you will be getting heals to regen your mana.

Change your gems in your helmet too, you want the +18 stam meta, +4 def/+6 stam.

Saying that any one class is best at healing is just a hard road to tow. I've been in guilds where droods where wtfbbq saucing heal charts, priests carrying the raid, pallies doing well, etc... It really depends on your class leader (if you plan to raid), guild type and so on.

The only healing class that I've never been impressed with has been that of the shaman. But they have a lot more utility than the priest during fights which has a lot to do with it.

you could bring one priest. Fort + Imp Spirit

Bring multiple paladins for multiple blessings on the entire raid and excellent 1 on 1 tanking healing. It is much more beneficial to a raid to bring more paladins than more priests. Plus paladins wear plate and never go oom. gg.

I raid on my shaman and its nice for chain heal as well as mana regen and +heal/dmg for a caster group, not to mention bloodlust.

You don't need more than 3 paladins for blessings, more than that and its a wasted utility slot. Hell 3 paladins and you start getting redundant

It depends on the type of encounter you're fighting as well, if there are silences or heavy moving encounters and you have no resto drood for the hots, gg. Paladins also can not effectively raid heal when there is AOE damage, so your healers need to be diverse to make up where the other classes lack ability.

Being out healed by a certain class just depends on the type of the encounter and your ability to predict the incoming damage. If you're proactive and can land your heals just after the damage hits, you will fare better on the charts. Paladin MT healers are able to use their flash to quickly prop up the tank, and a 2 second heavy Holy Light crit will heal for a ton...obviously.

Communication between the healers is also key, such that there is a steady rhythm of incoming healing rather than two or more people going 'fuckfuckfuck' and losing the tank to a spike in the middle of them frantically chain casting small flash heals.
