Im glad they are fixed the bug that was making everyone disconnect often after the patch...

I was in an instance group and we were always at least one man short because someone was disconnected and couldnt log back in...

Why in flying monkey hell have you made it so impossible to get Worn Dragonscales? I have killed about 30 of those little dragon bitches in Dustwallow and they have only coughed up ONE damn scale. Question for a fellow 40+ Hunter. How do you train Spirit Bond level 1? I see where I can train level 2, but not the first. This is from the Hunter Trainer in Darnassus, but I thought they were all the same. There doesn't appear to be a quest for it or anything. How in the universe do I get it?

here's a tip for fellow huntres: stay out of beastmastery tree. especially if your server is anything like mine. no one wants to see your pets in raids and no one pays attention to them in PvP most people will sheep/sleep/fear/root or just plan out ignore it and kill you.

I put 5 points for improved AotH when I specc'd out of it. after my first respec I didn't notice any changes except I do more damage. my pet still holds aggro just fine when I solo.

I've seen the pet hold aggro until a 60+ dragonkin died after a bad pull, and it's tanked a 61+ undead as well.

got jumped by a 49 warlock while i was fighting a mob, i (46 rogue) was less than half my life. i stunned and backstabbed a couple of times until he started to run and then died. dumbass warlock.

as opposed to everyone else with the casting time curses. is pretty bad if you get the jump and lose as he's said if he bolted u on the jump he could get about 1-2k of dmg almost instantly. though as i've said before i wouldnt bother wasting a shard off the bat if i was trying to gank someone lower lvl than me.

im still of the opinion that after raiding for a bit and attempting to find some decent pvp you get bored real quick at 60. week ago i was enjoying it decently, but i think ill be going back to console games for abit.

alt was working as an ...alternative, since they level so damn fast, but now im almost to 30 and the levels are slowing down a bit and its all the same shit so shrug.

i would say so, but as you get to higher levels all your quests will require a group to complete. and finding a good one can be a pain in the ass.

that's not necessarily true; there are some really good quests which require a group to do, but all the way to 60 there are regular kill quests and some other fairly good questlines which are easily soloable. right now i'm working on the last two parts of a 20-part questline, and though i need one or two others for the next to last part and a full party for the last part, i soloed the first 18 bits and got a pretty hefty chunk of exp for it.

i soloed virtually all of my lvls since i'm in england but on an east coast server and am thus on at non-prime hours. i did it all through questing, not a bit of grinding and barely any farming; you just have to explore all the zones of the game to find all the quests appropriate for your lvl. i even skipped gnomeregan, uldaman, and ZF completely, and have only done Maraudon (just Princess run) and Sunken Temple once each--it's very possible to solo all the way to 60 through questing, just gotta check thottbot.com a bit to find what zones you should be in.

yeah, im agreeing you could never group and make it to 60. some classes make it a lot easier, namely classes that have a pet or have good defensive measures (which is most of them).

none of these new mmo's has the staying power of eq, or perhaps its just more of the same so once the newness wears off ur back in the bleh stage. it is still fun and lots of little things are nice in the game, but balance and connectivity still plague the game.

got the book and ready to use the blade in front of Onyxia. I'm MT for my guild and was given the book from a paladin in the guild. been trying to take onyxia down past 2 nights, but having some issues. we can now get to stage 3 with no deaths and good mana, no SS uses, no battle rezzes, working out issues on stage 3 and sometimes the grouping up in stage 2 causing the deep breath.

The paladin was offered 3000g and then 5000g for the book, but still gave it to me. GG.

anyone know statistically how much +defense helps out? like what the formula is, or if a certain amount of +def is equivalent to a certain amount of +armor, etc?

i don't know exact formulas, but i do know one thing. the amount of AC that matters after 6000 is definately NOT worth having over +defense. +10 defense adds .4% to dodge AND parry (or 2 of the dodge, parry, blocks, forget which but doesn't matter in pve i don't think) and also decreases the chance of others to crit you.
