And to think they were just laughing their asses off at the shitty Duke team that got beat by Arizona. Hmmm.

The good news for UNC is that Mcadoo will be back next year. The bad news for UNC is that Mcadoo will be back next year.

That guy is fucking terrible. One of the biggest busts ever . Cost himself millions by coming back twice and getting worse.

Listened to this game on the ride home. The radio crew were acting like no team had ever got to the end of the game without getting to 7 team fouls. Life without PJ is tough and even tougher without ACC refs to save your ass on the road.

What a weekend for those losers.

Karl fucking Hess tried his damnedest to give them that one

Flagrant 1 one my ass. Dude didn't even touch Britt. Then UNC promptly hits a 3 after they get 2 free points from ol' Karl to let them unfairly stay in it. That shit is ridiculous. That call never happens if they aren't in the nose dome.

If you can't hit free throws, go play soccer. Why would anyone want to play for this unsupportive prick? He is the least classy D1 coach after a loss by a large margin.

Even when they were hitting shots late he was losing his mind yelling about something. I'm starting to wonder just how 'all there' Ole Roy is. Can't get his players prepared to play Bellmont or UAB. Throwing his jacket any change he gets.

I watched the replay 20 times and I didn't see a single elbow connect. It looked like a stellar acting job to me, and how the refs didn't see it in the replay is beyond me.

Oh wait it was Karl... that explains everything.

We beat a team wearing ugly ass orange colors last night and UNC lost to one wearing ugly ass orange colors. It was a good night

Rick Barnes has owned UNC in recent years.

They had to watch it about 20 times to call it a 'flagrant' foul

Definition of flagrant - (of something considered wrong or immoral) conspicuously or obviously offensive

I was watching live and saw the replays but still dont understand what the actual call was?

Clearly the guy didnt make contact, or even come close to making contact...so my question is, can you get a flagrant for throwing an elbow without contact or was that a legitimate made up call in an attempt to give UNC a chance (similar to the review of the 3pt shot that the guy was about a foot behind the line for)

Barber should be able to destroy Paige and Britt on the offensive end. Those guys couldn't stay in front of Taylor to save their lives.

^^If face-to-elbow contact is made, refs HAVE to call a flagrant 1 or 2.

That call last night was obviously a bullshit call to try to give UNC the game. I can't imagine what evidence could have been seen to make anyone think that elbow connected, except whats his face's reaction.

It was a horrible call.

Now I'm sorry I missed the game... but that's one of the reasons that keep me from basketball. I just don't think it's fairly officiated.

There's absolutely no accountability, there appears to be a large bias in refereeing.

I guess I didn't pay close enough attention. I though his second elbow made contact with his face, albeit not very hard contact.

Looked like his forearm might have "brushed" his neck...but that's a reach. Either way...huge acting job by Britt on that one. Pretty bullshit call if you ask me.

The Texas player swings his elbow through from left to right on the first pass, and clearly misses. Then reverses and comes back through from right to left, and appears to miss again. Then the UNC player falls back acting like the first elbow connected on the right side of his face.

Absolutely rediculous.

The 3-point shot review to me was an obvious gift to UNC of an officials time out. Texas nails a clear 3, and has all this momentum, so the officials have to stop play to give UNC a chance to regroup. The Texas player was so far behind the arc that viewers from home had no trouble seeing it was a 3. How the fuck can 3 zebras on the court miss that.

Marcus Paige is a great player, but when he's off, UNC can lose to just about anyone. He was definitely off last night.

Good for Bzdelik and Wake, even if they had the most pathetic court-storming I've ever seen.
