funny how this change comes exactly 1 week after the devs actually play in arenas with real players. hopefully the final tick of lifebloom takes a bigger nerf and cyclone actually shares a diminishing return with roots like it's supposed to.

LB change has zero impact on resto. Cyclone change isn't that bad either, in fact I'd say it was needed.

Gorefiend isnt too bad as long as you have high dps, well geared heals, no retards in the raids to screw up ghosts, and a little luck on what classes get ghosted.

Gorefiend is easy as long as the first person who gets ghosted does their ghosts perfectly. After that, the last guy can use his remaining time as a ghost to kill the next guy's. Aside from that, no single person can wipe the raid (aside from the MT as usual)

Vashj attempts started last night for my guild. First try down to 65%, and the best we did was 2/4 shields down. tried like 9 times i think, being spec'ed frost for kiting the striders stuck espicially when we only have a total of like 4 people dpsing them. We tried it later on with more like 6 or 7 dps'ing striders and worked a lot better. Any tips you guys got?

assuming that account values have finally finished their post-expansion readjustment (took a while for people to work out a new value system) you could probably get 150 or so selling it to a website, they'll in turn mark it up about 3x for resale...

you could probably get 2-3 hundred selling it quickly and privately... although the availability of gladiator gear hurts your numbers somewhat... also the amount of gold and items that you have in the bank can affect the value of your character when selling privately

Yeah the addition of the pvp welfare epic system has really devalued most accounts. What used to take tons of time, work, and effort to really gear up a character now takes about an hour a week.

don't use frost mages to kite striders, use aff locks and shamen so your mages can go arcane or deep fire. you need something like 700+ dps from all dps with 3 tanks and 8 healers

Everyone kills the naga till the hunter who kites the strider has enough aggro, then everyone kills the strider, while DPS warriors/feral druids keep tanking the naga.

we have an elmental shaman kiting. It's very pro because the rest of DPS can be a good spec and they can't pull aggro from him. We usually have 1 shadow priest spec blackout. All DPS should be netting.

We usually drop the strider 15+ seconds before the next spawns. You should never Two up.

Your healers shouldn't be idiots. They should all have the macro and throw it to the healers in the middle.

ps. Keep the vent clear.

We actually kill the striders as the highest priority. We have a warlock kiter, and a net rotation on the striders. All ranged that arent on elemental/stair duty work on the strider, and all melee that are free work on the naga.

We down the striders with 20+ seconds to go on the next one, and all switch over and down the naga, rinse, repeat.

It took us a while to get into the groove with her, but now we one shot her every week so far.

So I'm leveling my pally alt, Gaybar, when a 70 ally hunter comes up and sets a snake trap at my feet. After they kill the mob I'm fighting they kill me. Thought that was a funny little trick. I never engaged the hunter or the snakes heh.

what about hunters as strider kiters? i guess you can't let hunters get close to wing clip...

Casual raiding is the way to go.

Otherwise you end up like porcha, all the gear in the world months ahead of time so you can sit back and watch badge loot eclipse everything you've accomplished.

I wish they would add more BG maps. Just have 3 game types (ctf, control point, objective-based) that you queue up for and have the system randomly assign a map like arena does if they are so afraid of not having enough people to support 5 BGs. I'm tired of grinding the same ones.
