what's the best warlock leveling build for 60-70? i'm lvl 44 right now with affliction up to DP and starting into fel stamina/fel intellect for a few levels and then i was thinking i'd respec into demonology and DS for awhile. not sure what the best way to go is with the 40 point talents for leveling is though.

1-60 i was afflic

60-70 i went demo. I couldn't solo multiple mobs, but i had less down time going from each one to the next.

put 1 or 2 dots up, let the pet finish it off.

would affliction have any better luck soloing multiple mobs, or is that just basically out of the question in the outlands for locks? i think i remember being able to do it with my warrior.

and i'm guessing you went with the felguard for that strat?

I was affliction til 50, then respecced for demonology. Felguard is definitely most popular for survivability in Outlands - pretty much all of the locks I've seen have theirs out. I respecced back to affliction for pvp and I've had no trouble taking on 3-4 mobs at once. Just dot and drain tank.

If you get good with fear, affliction is a great solo-ing spec. just dot a lot, fear a lot, then run around and collect sparklies.

affliction is the best way to level hands down. You can kill multiple mobs and have 0 downtime. Fear one with dots, dot two others and drain tank. Should come out with full health and barely any loss of mana with imp drain soul and trinket from UB. Mushroom thing. If you did loose mana, 1 dark pact should do the trink. Alayws use your imp.

Find the macro that deletes extra shards so you arent emptying your bags every other minute.

^^do you know what the trinket is that you're referring to? i'm not familiar with it off the top of my head. im assuming i probably need to be close to 60 or so for it, but it will be good to know about it at least.

cool thanks for the tip. and it turns out i already had the addon you were talking about (necrosis), but never went through the options menus to discover that i could auto-delete extra soul shards so that was helpful.

I think I'm the only person in the game who has yet to figure out how to farm money other than doing dailies.

I farmed primal airs for 4 hours the other day and barely got enough to sell for 200G. Fish botting netted more money and didn't require me to do anything

^^^ I couldn't even begin to explain how much shit I pirate and refuse to pay for. Glider would be the one of the exceptions considering how often it gets updated. I even paid for the elite subscription 5/mo. Why add risk to your account when the software is only 25 bucks and comes with the forum access?

I would almost be scared to ask what the latest cracked version is?

plays the game for you (fishes, pvps, grinds, travels, gathers) I haven't messed with botting (or warcraft in general) for months now, but the risk is usually minimal if you're smart about it. I never botted AFK on any account that I cared to lose.

Make your own profiles, find your desolate spots, set follow timers, respond to nubians, and manually instance so that you don't look like a no faction having, of the owl wearing, ni hao speaking, walking cliche and you should be fine.

yeah well, I'd be paranoid about a rogue group injecting some trojan into the software to gank your account. Or worried about tripwire not working because of the required connection to glider's servers.

Also, when they gave everyone free elite features for two-three months (Background gliding, custom classes [which are fucking GREAT], autolog. They got me hook-line-sinker and I cannot run glider without it anymore.

all this talk is going to get me to reinstall

This works for a while until you realize some of the people from TWW you are playing with are dicks (Doss2k lol) or don't have a similar play-style and conflicts/drama/BS arise.

I've pretty much abandoned all of my 70s (one of every class except for a paladin lol). My roommate and I just rerolled on a pvp server. Its fun actually playing with someone you can harass if they suck.

Right now I am still with the faglliance ( ) on Medivh only because it was the only way to find a progressive guild that fits with my time constraints (having to leave at 11pm for work). I would love very much to get set up again on the horde side. In fact I have 4 70s on the horde side including another resto druid yet one 70 on the alliance which happens to be my main. Playing a shapeshifting cow is just not very appealing though. I'd like to make one of my blood elves my main but I am at a loss as to which class to play. Druids ftw!
