I, for one, love the impending change to Wild Growth and Circle of Healing that I have seen floating around on mmo-champion if it involves a cooldown. It will eliminate the clowns that can't play and soley rely on spamming one button heals.

Yea dude. Regardless of what blizzard or rogues that run with undergeared nublets have said, rogue DPS is completely in the shitter. There's absolutely no reason to raid with or play one

Commenting on the dps of any class this early in the expac is stupid as very few people have everything they need to theory cap their current potential, certainly none of you in here.

The only commentary that I'd recognize as being valid is that DK's have retarded high dps, and a very high upshot as they get better gear.

Also, yes to Azaka's comment. The upcoming nerfs to CoH is going to hit the button spammers pretty hard, depending on the nature of the nerf.

I personally think it needs to be on a 6 second CD as holy shock is since its practically the same spell except hitting 5 people instead of 1.

I'm just saying, rogues with the current gear level close to maxed out have to exploit to get decent dps againt other toons with similar or worse. That's sketch for sure. Especially considering they won't be buffing anyone anytime soon.

Stepped into a half-pug 10-Man Naxx for the first time last night, picked up http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39281 and was pretty pumped.

My guild needs more bodies... PST if you are looking to transfer and/or trying to gear up for heroics/10-mans (Onyxia Horde).

Maybe so, but the only thing really differentiating priests from the other healing classes is their insta-cast heals. Take that away and they're just the ones that die the quickest. In any case, Blizzard shouldn't be making encounters harder by making the classes (healing classes especially) harder to play. That's just lazy.

Priests also have PoM and Renew which gives them the most versatile healing toolkit. The druid AOE effect is also getting a cooldown, so you guys will have AOE abilities slightly lower then resto shaman, which is the way it should be.

GC already stated that Vortex was over tuned to mitigate CoH, and that led to other healing classes (sup paladins, shaman) being useless during that effect. Future encounters probably won't be as AoE harsh.

Their alternative is giving paladins an AoE heal, which you know they sure as shit won't do.

I stopped after my guild cleared BT. We took a break in raiding then half of us joined Civilian on Bonechewer and after that i couldn't really merit spending that much time on the game. The rest of them ended up clearing Sunwell... meh i guess i'd just spent to much time as a primary raider to go back to busting my ass and sitting on a bench only being subbed in for the trash in SW or something.

I got to kill illidan so i was satisfied with BT. Sunwell seemed kind of unnecessary since the purpose of TBC was to kill illidan anyways...


Also most of the friends that i played with before have split to different guilds or play much more casually than before.

My lock is herb/tailoring, I'm thinking of dropping the tailoring for alchemy since tailoring kind of sucks for Wrath. I do have some bop patterns from T5 instances that I'll be sad to see go, though.

Still, I think alch will be more profitable and I can make flasks for my main/guild.

OS is the easiest of all the instances until you do three drakes, then it becomes the hardest. In fact, three drake OS would be right at home in sunwell in terms of difficulty.

the problem is balancing dps in a vacuum and then the encounters have melee running around most of the fight while ranged moves minimally and nukes or runs while their dots roll. couple that with the most cumbersome mechanic in the game (hunger for blood now that hunter shots are fixed) and you have rogue dps only shining with HaT (bug) or in ideal conditions with subpar conditions for casters. this is why I have no desire to do any raiding on my rogue until the overhaul and will play my enhancement shaman or roll a DK. rogue itemization is weak too. everything is itemized for an assassination build (lots of crit and lackluster hit) but for just playability, combat is putting out more damage.

God damn it, this game just pulled me back in. I haven't played in 3 years, but for some reason I got the itch today. Installed WoW. I've been patching for 3 hours now. I'm currently on BC 2.4.3 and downloading the fucking 3.0.1 patch. After reading a bunch of forums and threads, this seems like it's going to be an entirely different game then my 60 Mage was used to back in the day.

Worth buying WotLK, if only to level my main to 80 and level a Death Knight at least part of the way? I'd like to raid too but it's not likely I'll have much time for that sort of thing during the spring semester. But I probably would get back into raiding over the summer.
