Rump removed a hair from Charming's cloak and mixed it in a vial with snow's hair and it created the "love potion" he had mentioned earlier in the episode

Did anyone else get the feeling with this episode that August might be an older version of Henry? Their conversation in the diner just gave me this vibe that hadn't before.

Ooh, a comment I just read on a recap column suggested August is Peter Pan--someone who can travel between both worlds and still has that childhood belief; especially since he says he's there to make Emma believe in fairies...clap your hands! Interesting thought.

So now i've got three ideas... Grimm descendant, future Henry, and Peter Pan.

He also said that his specific curse punishment is to remember the other world and yet not be able to approach his daughter. . . though I personally think it has more to do with him being a connoisseur of jumping worlds.

I was almost _really_ irked with the episode when he was kicked out the window. I first thought they got rid of the character. Then when they showed him inexplicably missing, it was awesome again.

He may have been my favorite character to date. Simultaneously hated what he was doing, but felt sorry for him, and almost wanted him to make the move on Emma that seemed so close. Excellent episode, and I think Emma's one step closer to really believing.

My only problem with him was the actor. He just couldn't deliver the desperately insane speech convincingly without stumbling over himself.

Otherwise a good character. I like a loose cannon, although understanding his motives kinda dampens things.

That april 1st episode was the best of the season. Holy shit. I just watched it tonight and it was emotional as hell. Katherine showing up at the last second was a huge letdown from all the anxiety of having the trial. Would've been nice to have at least 1 day of trial...

Tonights episode was meh. lol at you guys thinking august was henry. What made you think there could be two of one person?

My theory was that he was a Grimm brother or editor, since he played such a part in Henry's book. But I've also heard people suggest after last night's episode that he's Pinnochio.

Ftr (and saving others from your lols), it was only me that thought (or voiced itt) August might be Henry...and I even said why. In a land where Emma is the same age as her mom & dad, why could it not be possible that August was future Henry coming back in time to assist with the book and making Emma believe? I didn't see a definite romantic connection between Emma and August for the "eww she's crushing on her son" factor.

I also thought he might be connected to the brother'a Grimm. I think I said another theory (bc I like coming up with lots of theories) of him being Peter pan.

And the previews definitely make it seem like he might be Pinocchio. Plus his paper weight was a donkey which iirc from the disney version all the boys turned in to donkeys at that weird carnival. Also, his leg difficulty could be some kind of connection to changing from a wooden puppet to human form.

So I've been catching up on this show and can't decide if I like it or not (I guess I do). However I've come to the realization that I can't stand the main character, Emma, or Mary Margaret. They seem like complete idealistic and/or naive idiots.

Think I'll be rooting for the evil queen and Rumpelstiltskin now.

i think it was a great show until xmas but then i think they thought it would be a flop and didn't plan anything after that. Since then i think the whole show has been sub-par... but better then watching reality tv so i still watch it.
