thomas fuckin robinson rode the bench for three years. So, if any of these guys start to pull a DP then they can fuck off as far as I am concerned.

the purvis > lewis experiment at the 1 lasted for about 12 minutes.

sadly, those 12 minutes were during the UVA game which killed what little offense we could get that game.

Wow no love from anyone after some of those slick passes last night? Lewis is going to be fun to watch the next few years.

I wanna see a video of those three nasty assists. Am I remembering right in that they were within the span of a few minutes?

Kudos to Lewis, this kid can play ball.

I'm excited to see the future of NCSU and hopefully we can make a run this year and see more big time games from them.

indeed, if he continues to grow as a basketball player (not height necessarily), we'll be in good shape at the point for at least a few more years.

Some of the best no-look passing in the paint I've ever seen from an NCSU player.

Zo was also impressive of course.

The biggest thing, despite all his flashiness, is he never seems to make mistakes. He's completely in control when he drives the line and always finds the open man.

Can't help but feel good about our guards and wings going into next year. Just need some help down low.

At some point though, you have to wonder what is going to come of Lewis, Zo, Turner, Barber and Purvis?

I'm thinking

Lewis: Will start next year
Cat: Will back up both guard spots
Zo: Goes pro
Purv: Starts at 2G
Turner: Starts at SF (TJ moves to 4, assuming CJ is gone)

actually it lasted more than 20 games. before brown got hurt purvis ran the offense most of the time when brown was out of the game.

also, there is no way lewis doesn't start next year. (assuming brown goes to the NBA, which is pretty much a given.)

Depends on how Barber does, I think Tyler is the starter till atleast the start of the ACC season.

That would imply that Tyler would flounder a bit. I just don't see it. Kid can play and only seems to be getting better. We can always play small ball with Lewis, Cat, and Purvis on the court together.

I think it'd be pretty surprising if Lewis wasn't the starter for next season...assuming Zo is gone.

I don't think we'll have too much choice at times next year, but that is a REALLY small lineup.

Regardless of who starts, I think Lewis, Purvis, Turner, and Barber will all rotate at the guard spots through the game, sort of like the 3-man forward rotation we have this season of Howell, Leslie, and Warren.

As someone mentioned, I think Turner will play more of the 3, because Warren's going to have to spend alot of the time at the 4 (who else except Washington?... And JEVONI!). And I guess Anya and Vandenburg will split time at the 5?? Hopefully we'll get another big-man committ soon.

(in before "positons don't matter!")

Rumors are picking up about Davidson.

Everything else has been true so far...so I'll go ahead and assume this one is too.

There's not much to tell. Some people on Pack Pride are saying Lewis is looking at Davidson. No sources, just rumors.

Before last week, I would have said it was retarded and Lewis would be crazy to transfer. After the Purvis thing, who the hell knows what's going on.

Transfering with purvis gone would be retarded he just locked up a ton of minutes.

How much longer can Gottfried last he has managed to run off the entire team practically if all three frosh leave

As long as we have him, we have a chance. He's like the Rivers of basketball and that Miami game watched like an FSU Rivers game.

Anyone hear Joe Giglio on with Jensen on 610 WFNZ in Charlotte about an hour ago? Giglio was talking about Lewis and Warren's future with the program but I missed what he said about Lewis. It almost sounded as if it wasn't 100% that Lewis would be back next year, but I missed what his sources were telling him.

I just don't understand any of this. Gottfried has to have done something wrong here. None of this makes any sense.

There's alot of talk about Barber coming in and being the man next year.

Until proven otherwise Lewis is the PG in my opinion. Kid has earned it. We played a two guard at point for a a few seasons now, and Brown worked out for us turnovers and all. It's time for a true PG to take care of the offense.

Duke
36 4-8 .500 0-2 .000 8-9 .889 2 5 0 0 0 1 16

Miami
39 4-8 .500 0-1 .000 5-5 1.000 2 6 0 1 2 0 13

Those are incredible stats for a fresh that only saw limited minutes before those games. And those are the best two defenses in the ACC. Remember the Duke game was in front of the crazies.

Double digits. 50% from the floor. 11 assists and a single turnover in 75 minutes of play. That's insane.

We need this kid. He's got it.

If lewis transfers, barber better be the greatest point guard in school history.
