It was a private network that was intended to be used for the towns government (why they need so much bandwith, who knows). But from what i've heard they are looking to expand it and bring in a provider who can connect with them and provide fiber to everyone else.

I saw a Google Fiber-marked (said something like "Project Manager") car driving around my neighborhood really slowly the other day. September would be 20 months, which is how long it took in Austin for fiberhood signups to open.

The installer for my ATT was sure to point out the data cap for what its worth. The data cap goes away though if you have uverse tv as well. So far max I have pulled is 81 MB/s which is pretty amazing to see haha.

Updated speeds... pulled 111 MB/s off steam last night downloading a game stayed over 100 MB/s for a fair amount of time as well so wasnt just a quick spike. Seeing as 125 would be my theoretical cap thats pretty damn amazing.
