I, too, am [--] close to quitting, or at the very least quitting raiding. This side of the Vernal Equinox makes me want to go outside more and a developing relationship with someone two hours away means that I need more free time. Plus, my heart just isn't in it anymore. I loved BC with the lore, the places and the dungeons. I just don't feel like stressing myself 16+ hours a weak to make sure I am the omgleetbbq damage. Heck, I don't even log on to do my cooking daily anymore.

there is not 16 hours worth of content to do each week unless you like farming or something. hell with these boe badge items I make enough money just doing a couple raids per week and sell the bracers for 2k. with alts taking up a large portion of the raid force we manage it all (including 3 drake) in 2, 3 hours days. I will say I'm less and less inspired to login. webbed death absolutely refuses to drop and so does the chest on malygos and the thrown weapon in naxx. come patch I won't even need webbed death, so I'm not sweatin it.

Yes, I died on Maexxna because I didn't shield wall for the wrap. I was pretty out of it and didn't realize that she was enraged already and when I did I hit my last stand macro instead of shield wall. I haven't fucked up in a long ass time though.

^ man... myself and Jomegatron's stats are almost identical. I have 70 more hit, he has 2% more crit. Our gear is similar, but his weps are double betrayer, i have double death's bite. Maybe that makes the difference in dps...

But yet, his DPS is a lot higher than mine. I looked at his moves compared to mine. Very similar.

His DPS for patchwerk was 5100, mine was 4200. Wonder if I'm just bad or if the weps make that much difference. I'd like to think I'm not bad... I'm going to blame it on my Death's Bite vs. his Betrayers.

I've probably averaged 1 hour of playtime in the last three weeks due to work, but even if I didn't have work I'd be doing something else. There's just very little incentive to do anything besides the 4 hours needed to clear everything. Who would have thought easy = boring?

tanks, ele shamans, PRO ROGUE DPS, and PRO HUNTER DPS.

3d sarth is usually one shotted
sever first 10 man 3d and sever first 6 min maly

just make sure you have all your shit enchanted and gemmed right before you app. No fail spec either.

My 1-month free trial is up, and I won't be renewing...good thing I found the box set at circuit city for 20 bucks.

I probably would have been into this game more 2 or 3 years ago, but now it's just boring. All of the lower level areas are ghost towns regardless of what server you are on, and all of the lower levels that are around only seem interested in grinding to 60. Definitely would be a million times more fun with more people to quest with, but it's my fault for waiting 4 years to give it a try

Got the first Turning Tide that dropped for us. I feel set for Ulduar, aside from my shitty 10 man belt that I haven't seen a replacement for. My gear isn't the best, but I have no trouble at all.

We've been running with a boomkin lately and seeing my crit jump to 50% makes me freaking delighted.

anyone in a baller guild or have access to baller guild PTR parses? on live I rarely do more than 4500dps and on a few rare encounters, I do 5200ish max. our spriests and locks always kick my ass and do 5100ish normally and 6500+ on patch. I want to know if the talent reworks are sufficient enough to be #1 again. glyph and poison changes alone should be another 4-500dps in my current gear.

just got 3d sarth down. had spent a couple nights workin on it. not too bad once you know what you're doin. my wow had been crashin in naxx a lot a month or two ago but had settled down...then tonight it starts back up and i got d/c'ed, logged back in, killed by firewall as i loaded, and then d/c'ed again. had to turn off all my mods just to get back in and get credit for the kill.

I started a priest, meant to play her as shadow so I could get my dps urges out, but ended up going disc. I think I'm meant to be a healer. I'm at 77 and I dunno what I'm gonna do with her when I get to 80. Seems stupid to have two healer characters in the same guild.

Nothing wrong with having 2 healers. Disc healing is very different from the other classes since it focuses on mitigating damage. It sucks though that absorbing or preventing damage isn't added in to the healing done when calculating totals.

i used to have the same obsession.

played a restoshaman for awhile and was fun and all, but some prick priest in the guild turned me off to running on the shaman.

switched guilds and they had an abundance of healers and tanks and the dps was lacking, so brought back my mage and prepping up for ulduar.

ulduar shit a brick on about our 3rd attempt on razorscale. flame leviathon is the biggest joke ever. void reaver wasnt even that easy. he got 1 shot when we actually realized what started the encounter (first time half the people werent in the zone).

how do you guys have your bindings setup? I am starting to think mine are extremely inefficient and I always find myself hitting the wrong shit. it might not really matter since I'm not doing any raiding or anything difficult at all.

barely did anything last night except fiddle with talents and such. have yet to dual-spec anything but I'll be:

sham - resto/ele
druid - feral/resto
lock - aff/demo? not sure, haven't played the warlock in a while.

anyone checked out the argent tournament? how difficult will it be to get some of those new pets?

EPIC Fishing Run Last night!

While most people were working their talents and checking out the new content, I decided to keep working on my fishing.

I won the Stranglethorn Tournament a few weekends back, and the achievements I had left for Salty were Mr. Pinchy's Magical Crawdad, One that Didn't Get Away, and Coin Master.

So, I log in around 8PM last night, respec my talents, then figure that all of the Highland Mixed Schools in Terrokar should be up since everyone will be busy with new content. I was right. All of the pools were up. I cleaned out Lakes Journe and Ere'Noru then on my first pool at Blackwind, I get Mr. Pinchy! Sweet. I cross my fingers and make the wish and sure enough, I get the Magical Crawdad.

I figure that there's no time like the present and go start fishing up fangtooth herring schools in Howling Fjord and after about 20 casts, I get the Dark Herring and get the One that Didn't Get Away achievement. My guild is going nuts.

So I start fishing up coins in Dalaran. After about an hour of this, I decide to break up the monotony and go fish some Glacial Salmon pools in Grizzly Hills to train my cooking and on the 2nd cast, I fish up the Sea Turtle! ><

I then proceed to strut said Sea Turtle around Dalaran then spend another hour and a half fishing up coins until my last copper coin (Inigo) and BAM, Salty Meraxes.

I'm reading up on that turtle. Looks like its only 60% on land but in water it is the fastest mount available. It beats the druid aquatic form and path of frost. I'm jealous.
