haha yep. I was the exact same way. I am a lot busier these days, but if I could be guaranteed that kind of fun again I would find time to play. The entire beta and release through naxx portion of this game was easily the most fun I have had playing a video game before. The beginning of BC was actually fun for me too (leveling up again). About when the first arena season ended is when I couldnt find anything I enjoyed and its stayed that way the few times I have tried to come back after a few months off.

I really do wish I could get the same excitement I had the first time downing Rag or when I got any number of coveted weapons at 60 etc. So fun. I think my peak of fun in the game was probably C'thun. Downing C'thun for the first time was absolutely awesome (I LOVE that fight). And then going off and joining a lower guild with friends and actually leading them up to also beat C'thun was just as fun.

Anyone play on Uldaman? I just app'd up to what seems to be a really cool guild there - The Harlequins. More importantly, they've cleared Ulduar whereas my fail-guild didn't raid AGAIN last night because only 19 raiders signed on.

If anyone has an Ulduar clearing or at least 10/14 Ulduar guild and needs a Fury/Prot Warrior, let me know. This guild is on another server so I will xfer anywhere.

I finally saw yogg last night.


so far I've killed mim on 25

and general on 10.


Yogg is a pretty intense fight. It seems like blizzard came up with a bunch of tiny mechanics and threw them all in a blender and called it a boss fight.

im sick of hard modes attempts. at least we're only trying one per week (ish)...current focus is thorim+sif. we get there to engage hard mode, but dont have nearly enough dps it seem. im always top 3 as an ele shaman and we have people (slackers) doing 1/2 mil less than me. raid leaders want to keep going attempt after attempt when there is no chance we will win unless the 5-6 bottom dps learns how to maximize their dps.

Try to keep recruiting, even 'full' classes. We have a few meh Priests that won't up their game (one's a CL), so we recruited around them, eventually got good priests, and some bad ones left from not being in raids. Once people figure out they're expendable, they might magically up their dps/hps/whatever.

Oh we are recruiting. There are definitely around 5 or so people that seem to always have something "come up" on wipe/hardmode nights. We do get a decent number of recruits as we are one of the top ally guilds on the server, but it sucks having to teach people fights only to find them subpar in simple tasks like "move away from the lightning". Sadly, the bad dps are the ones that show up every night. I mean its great they're reliable (attendance wise), but come on. Hell, I could probably take a month off from raiding and come back with a guaranteed spot. So hey, if there are any good players on Shattered Hand alliance, lemme know haha.

i've made 4 people leave our guild during the last 2 weeks of raiding form going of on them and their piss poor performance, and promising them i'd do my runs* a man down rather then invite them from now on. I followed this by doing OS, Naxx, and FL with 8-9 people.


*I run our guilds back gearing naxx/os runs and the Monday 10 man uld for anyone not on the main 10 man lock out.


Also, anyone else fairly convinced you could do FL 10s with nor towers with 6 or less people ?

i've seen the 2 manning vid, but that requires some relatively high ilvl gear (although i am unsure how they 2 manned though the gauntlet). I meant 6 mouth breathers that could listen to basic instructions.

For 25 man FL, how many good demo teams (10 stack roll the whole time unless they are being chased) do you need to do 2 or more towers up.


Also, for 3 towers up 10 man, we are thinking frost/fire/life and doing 2 SE, 1 bike, and 2 Demos, with demo 1 tossing up either a boomkin or a mage for keeping the shutdowns going, is this how the rest of you are doing it, or should we try a different 3 towers/set. (we just did storm+fire w/shutout this week. Our A-groups demo teams are pro.

I deleted all the personal information from the account, discontinued service, removed my credit card info and changed the email address to the buyer's. Then I gave the buyer the account name and pw in exchange for cash.

I did all this in person, with the buyer nearby. You might do things differently if you are not going to meet the buyer.

Also, If the buyer is smart, they'll open another account with your same last name and pay the transfer fee. The original owner can always pull strings to get the account back. Or get it banned in the process.
