I'm joining JUICE, which is one of the largest Horde guilds in Stormscale. They transferred from Stormreaver. So far it's been fucking AWESOME. One huge raid in Southshore and then a UBRS run last night (remember I'm only level 56).

Hunters are absolutely worthless at level 60. I'd reroll immediately.

in my opinion, besides ganking noobs rogues are pretty worthless too. perhaps after this patch they will be better, but in mass pvp i just dont see a lot of use. once ur outa stealth u can expect to get dot'd and die insanely quickly.

yea but a good rogue in group pvp wont stealth until he gets behind the other group. At that point hes gonna take out the healers and restealth before you can target him.

And with the changes in the path, cloth users are even more vulnerable to rogues.

I went on a town raid as well, to Astranaar last week. It was my first and was pretty fun. Pretty easy until someone pulled the gryphon master.

^^ That is CT_RaidAssist, RaidBar used to be ok until this CT addon came out. It doesn't have the lag that RaidBar had.

i like my hunter just fine, and recently saw a lvl 60 hunter raiding astranaar dealing out the deaths like candy.

i think i would like my hunter more if i could shoot arrows while moving.

granted you go really slow while backing up, but it would be nice to get that extra hit or two in

AGREED ^. Or if you could shoot somebody at close range, that would be hot.

I mean, hunters are pratically worthless at close range, even if they do have mail, but still.

First kill of Lucifron by my guild. Somehow though, we fucked up and didn't loot the tranquilizing shot tome. Our druid got his gloves though. It feels good to finally kill that son of a bitch after 4 trys.

heh stupid penelope rose quest, why'd they have to change it where u can only 5man that crap ...so annoying.

either way, never seen a troll in full magisters, looks kinda funny. it's kinda weird seeing troll/orc's in robes as it is...guess just cuz ur used to them being so gruff and beastly. they generally pull off the melee thing better though.

wooo got me a UD rogue, and it feels so sweet. got dot'd and just tried to hide around the corner thinking i wouldnt come in to stop him. then again when he was chasing me he stopped as if id keep running. stupid, but a wins a win.

-yesterday, i collected about 60 wool in an hour at the deadmines
-the next day, doing the same thing at a diff time, i got a bout 5 in an hour


also, now today, silk is selling at 50s per 20, and yesterday it was about 3g per 20

its insane

3g a stack for silk hah, runecloth per stack barely sells above 1g on skullcrusher. sounds like someone got lucky with the silk sales, seriously though cloth is one of the most common drops b/c humanoids are so easy to kill. it isnt great money.

early 50's are maybe 8 hours a lvl, later ones are 10. thats if ur gridning or questing at a decent rate. not a max but a good pace.

HAHA we use 6-8 hunters in MC, have beat all the bosses (except rag)

probably couldn't do some pulls w/o them (and they are the main ones studying the instance for pulls and what not). they have CONSTANT ranged dps and don't rely on too much mana, so they can last a long time... golemagg is a LONG ranged dps fight and they help a ton. same w/ onyxia, they help a lot.

taking a break for about a week + new patch has put some life back in this game. there will be new quests for me to do and new recipes and an actual point to pvp. whether this makes pvp 10x gayer cuz everyone always is trying to kill you (no penalty on death)...we'll see. i have a feeling the big groups of gankers in WPL, EPL, Winterspring, Ungoro, and the like is gonna be high.

im betting another week or two, there were a lot of things fucked up both bug-wise and balance-wise. that gives me plenty of time to wait for arcanite prices to drop again. buncha tools raised price by 75% in last few days and i only need 1 more bar and 100g for my mount.

I'm 'bout to finally pick up WoW in about a week or so since my g/f is gonna be schooling at a community college during the summer like 3 hours away so I'll have too much free time after work.

I'm esentially clueless about the factions within WoW, but clearly I'd like to join one w/ fellow NCSU ppl. Any suggestions on what to do/join during signup?

Shrike: 3 is pretty much needed for magmadar... they miss a lot and will be needed. shaman's will have to lay the magic dispell totems (to dispel fear on MT)... it's a tough fight, but we do it first try every time now (alliance, dwarf priest w/ fear ward)

anybody know what BLizzard's policy for prolonged lack of usage is? IE, I'm going to be gone this summer in Arizona without my computer but I don't want to lose my players by cancelling my account. I also don't want to pay for three months of service that I can't use. I emailed them several days ago, but they haven't responded, just curious if anyone knew.

dont know the official policy, but with the way blizzard has been going i doubt it would be an issue. EQ said they would delete chars after a month or so of cancellation, but i quit for 6-8mo at one point and came back with no problems, all chars ready to go.

Yeah on the forums there was a big thread about some guy going off to Iraq and trying to keep paying to keep his chars. They said they will not be deleting any characters and all inactive accounts will retain everything.
