I guess this flies in the face of the prevailing argument that Blizz makes class tweaks/nerfs based off of PvP and not PvE. . . .
2-4% can be the difference between 2nd/3rd and 10th in terms of damage done. Now perhaps I am just not seeing this clearly. Since this is a change to the base numbers how great of an impact does it have on someone with top-end gear? Because the notes said that scaling as unchanged, so wouldn't the top-end be as effected by however much the base change was?

people much closer to the base damage (in doodoo gear) are going to see the biggest brunt because they dont have the gear to scale up. when you've got 5k+ AP, it won't be as big of an issue. maybe 2-3% of a dps loss. thats like 120-180dps out of 6k. Not a huge amount.

yeah.. FL4t was simple.. we went from doing 0 towers (to get to Yogg) one week to the next doing 4t. It took us an hour to master and we one-shot it this week. I'm a demo driver... that shit is fun.

We got Hodir hardmode tonight and called it. We might try Freya 2-tree tonight.

lol.. I had no clue what that shirt meant until we spent 3 hours wiping on hard-mode thorim last night.

We got him to 7% twice with both our tanks getting gibbed at around 12%. What's the secret? We have a druid that tanks it until about 20% then gets owned, then our pally tank picks it up and proceeds to get owned a few % later.

we only had 1 holy priest for guardian spirit, but plenty of pallys for divine sac. druid also used barkskin whenever he could for the strike.

the DPS was pretty good... we had 11 unbalancing strikes when we the tank died and from what I'm told, that's about average.

^you want to easy-mode it. Get a priest or two to MC the whatever the fuck their name is while wearing some frost resist gear. the aura of celerity is a 20%(40% for 2, lol) haste buff which makes the fight cake.

^^ i heard you can cheese fight by getting a druid with 40k HP and 600+ resilience to tank it. Apparently you can kill it pretty easy without transitions.

i guess it depends on what class you came from. I only played warrior the several years I played the game and loved it. Fury was usually decent for leveling, but I dono I was always a fan of the big 2H since it was the reason I chose to be a warrior in the first place

^^^ i don't know how things have changed since BC, but fury is awesome for leveling, def better than 2 handers. chances are you're probably doing it wrong, or your gear is needing help (fury is very gear dependant)

So what are people thoughts on the badge changes with the upcoming patch? As a former raider I hate when they make things so easy mode. As someone who plays a bit more casually now Im not gonna lie the fact I can do easy mode heroics to get ulduar level gear is kinda nice. I believe the should have just bumped everything up one badge level though, heroics/10 mans drop valor now but to get conq you still gotta do the 25 mans at least.
