i'll be selling at least 50 epic gems tonight, possible more depending on how much i could rape prospecting JCs for the titanium rather then just blowing it up myself(about 400 ore sitting around, none of that counting towards the 50). I will then wait, 1 week, and bu back 50 gems for 25% of the price because people are morons, and then i'll be set for re-gem both sets of gear i have + enough left over for getting my T9 sets.

New boss is easy, thank god because our grid broke and our healers went nuts.
Can sorta fix it by going to Layout and setting the Solo grid option to 25 players. It breaks randomly though :/

My UI was so borked I gave up and went to bed early last night. Didn't look at any of the new content, I was just in UC casting at the training dummy trying to get things setup. From the looks of it the modders are working diligently on updating the code so I'll give it another go tonight.

new heroic is a loot pinata. 5 epics in 15min. took us ~40min our first time through because no one knew how to stop the guys from getting new horses. was actually kinda fun to try a fight without knowing the strat ahead of time.

New 5 man - loot pinata on heroic, abyss farming on regular (1 shard per person per 15 minutes)

Sold runed/bold/sovereign/nightmare epic cut gems for 400-700g for the 1st 2 hours server was up. Uncuts are now going for 90-160 each because the markets flooded with stocked titanium prospects, honor capped people and badge horders, so I'm stocking back up. All that i imagine we are seeing a price floor though next Thursday, and then it will go back up as all the stocked volume is sold out and we start seeing an even flow back into the market. What should i buy now...

That's funny because I came here to ask for some pointers on Faction Champs. We got shaman then paladin down, but by that point half the raid is dead. Took us what seemed like forever to down the shaman. Rogues doing nothing but kicks and Fan seemed to rock the shit out of interrupts, but we just couldn’t keep people up.

25 man wrecked us the first few attempts as well. We were systematically wrecked time after time in the begining. The winning strat in the end for us was to sap two of their DPS in the begining (just to make the pull more smooth) have one tank range pull, then DG the shaman into our raid. We nuked him down ASAP. We had one rogue on each of the other healers (2) just stun locking them. As the other NPCs made it into the middle, we had priests, warriors, and Locks burn their AE fears.

I think we had some DKs also constantly controlling the NPC warrior and DK (DG them out of the raid then stunning and slowing them down).

After the Shaman went down, we killed the pets. Then we moved on to the SPriest, then the other healers. Probably not the best strat, but we wanted some of their DPS dead since we were controlling their other heals so well.

I swear Blizzard programmed this just like real PvP, though. As the only Lock, I was consistently mass targeted at the start of the encounter even when I purposefully just sat there for a second and did nothing. Switched to Demon Armor and VW for the shield and I seemed to be fine.

That just seems lazy to me. Have one rogue (or interrupter) on each of the healers then nuke down the shaman. We started some attempts with locks trying to chain fear and mages using Poly, but it just seemed to take away from our DPS and the shaman lived too long.

definately a fun fight, but i was hoping for a bit more strategy for it.

They way we killed it was pretty much against the general consensus. We killed the shaman first then that fucking rogue. I think the last two we killed was the warlock and then the druid was last. I left the Pets up the entire fight, i think you are suppose to kill these first.

I dunno, it just seemed like we ran into like retards and did it 2nd attempt. Although it took us like 10 minutes to do it, it was fun.

I need to quit this game haha. Managed to 1 shot the Champions on Tuesday, with only 8 people left alive at the end.

We got the unlucky 3 healer setup, but still managed to pull it off with 4 healers and 4 dps left alive at the end. Fun fight, especially the fact that as a tree I got focused every 20 seconds or so which is the norm in pvp

You do realize that with FoK, any time you hit with it and at least one is casting it counts as an interrupt on ALL of those mobs, right? So if you have 10 mobs in range and one of them is casting, it counts 10 interrupts though you only interrupted 1.

So that is incredibly lazy for that fight since you can stunlock their healers. The whole point is to get down mobs ASAP. Spamming FoK lowers their DPS against the single target. Each mobs that dies makes the encounter significantly easier.

Yogg-Saron was an entirely different story. There's a lot going on in that fight and the brain team had no idea what the fuck to do. We have phase 1 on lockdown at least.

^^ No, the old content is revised for everyone. It's just the new races, zones and level cap for the expansion pack buyers. I've considered just restarting my old account and releveling without buying the new expac to experience the revised content.
