I skimmed it and got the general feeling that the writer thought all PvE server players are self-centered losers. Which is pretty much the consensus I've heard elsewhere. Not sure I would have proudly linked that article if I played on a PvE server.

Never said it was better. I originally stated that I use it as a diversion from raiding/emblem farming. To which the "CAREBEAR" cries came.

I still maintain that it is more difficult to be flagged on a PVE server. Is the entire experience more difficult? No. I can unflag any time I want and go back to my carebear existence questing with no threat of being ganked.

I started WOW by rolling on a PVE because my friend was on a PVE server.

But then I realized how much pussy bullshit PVE was (ever seen a guy run around another spit spit spitting... that's what PVE brings out... it's pathetic) and rerolled on a PVP

and the funny thing is that the arount of extra trouble a PVP brings to a high level is almost zero

because most people just want to play the game... even on a PVP server

get a set and fucking reroll on a PVP

I raided on PVE server pre-BC.

I then rerolled PvP server, leveled to 60, raided, and then past my old guild on the PVE server in progression in a matter of months.

PvP players are better players overall.

The best part of this practice is when you group into a 5 man or a raid flagged and people absolutely flip shit because they get infected with your flag. Or used to, I think they might have patched it so your buffs hit green peeps. "WTF1?! LEGOLASHUNTER UR FLAGGED"

This shit would happen in raids occasionally if people were in WSG or AV right up until /afking out for a summon. The easiest thing with 40 people is obviously have everyone flag for the raid, but you'd get these RP fucks that would protest because it wasn't in the nature of their character and shit.

God damn I hated that realm.

It looks like the uploader installed wrath. I remember trying to log into my TBC patched game with a vanilla wow account and being unauthorized. Before I go purchasing game time, will this client reject my bnet ID because it only has TBC and not WOTLK yet?

That must sound like such a dumb fucking question, but I swear at some point in the past I logged in with vanilla information on a TBC client and was prompted to upgrade the key. But on the same token, I know for a fact I have used a TBC client to bot with a vanilla account, so I have no fucking idea what I was smoking then.

I am doing a WoW reinstall tonight. Come to find out, you only need to install the wrath. It contains all the previous games w/ patches. So you don't need to install vanilla, patch it, BC, patch it, Wrath Patch it.

you'll be fine if you install wrath on a vanilla/BC account because you have to be patched up regardless.

I think you can also download the necessary files from your bnet account if you log into it.

I hope heroic Coliseum is harder, it has taken us 2 pulls to down each new boss so far which is pretty fucking stupid and more proof that blizzard wants to make things easy mode for everyone. Maybe the final boss will be a little tougher but who knows
