For twins we did the one group in a corner with 4 soaks. Raid is dark, 4 soaks are light. Took 6 tries after trying with everyone being Dark (and the soaks just took too much damage). I think Dark Essence was the hard one, since our soaks have to run off and we have a couple ranged move out to stop lights from hitting the group.

I hate/love Anub. Buggy spikes and our Scarab damage flucuates from perfect to 6 up when he emerges. But its really fun to Mage. Mages/DKs crushinate damage

Really? I was top of DPS meters last week on our Anub attempts....

I hit 14k several times during Phase 1... We finally got our kiting down on phase 2 for our last few attempts last week. Only saw Phase 3 once though out of 26 attempts. We're raid stacking fury warriors (what I am) and 3 ret pallies, 2 holy pallies for divine sac and 2 disc priests for phase 3d

Say what you want about old world instances...personally I love being able to jump off the sides of staircases and exiting sfk by going over the edge of the battlements.

It is the holiday events that send the PVE'ers into battlegrounds that piss me off.

I got hacked on sunday.

No clue how it happened. I have AVG running and i browse the net using google chrome. I even ran hijack this and didn't find anything crazy booting up or running.

the only thing i can figure is some script kiddie got me some how.

Logged in and all my shit was cleaned out on my priest, warrior, and warlock. Weird part is i never type my account name ever. It's pretty unique. Probably the only time i ever type it is when im logging into the realm forums.

i switches to bnet months ago, and not had any security issues. Everyone of my friends/guildmates that's been compromised were regular wow accounts (not bnet) and most of them had retard simple passwords: 8 char passwords, account name as most of the password, same name for everything, extra stupid shit like bob1980/1980bob stuff

After a recent hack, our guild has locked bank access unless you post a picture of your authenticator in front of your character.

Of course, this thread just turned into a contest on who could have the most interesting pic, but it made me buy an authenticator, even though I also feel I'm not stupid enough to be hacked. They also make the authenticator app if you have a smartphone for free.

I jumped on the b.net bandwagon back in April and have had an authenticator longer than that. Never been hacked, but I'm also not a dumbass who clicks on phishing links. Not that everyone who gets hacked is, but you know a lot of people do fall for that crap.

So yesterday, I heard about the faction change service. My main was an NE rogue, and I hated being a NE for most of the 4 years that I played. I always said that if I were ever given the opportunity to switch to human or undead, I would. So I renewed and switched to undead. I found out about the WotF nerf today. So, that's kind of a FML, but WotF is still good and better than shadowmeld.

I just think it's funny that for as long as I wanted to be able to change races, they put this change in like a week ago. Frankly, I don't think it's a surprise. I remember saying when they announced race/faction changes that anyone that does arena seriously would be an idiot for not switching to undead. It makes sense that they would try to balance WotF after all these years.

There are better rewards from other cards.

You'd have to spend quite a lot to get the free game time from the WoW Visa, while you can get rewards that are better than the occasional $15 from other ones.

Plus, being laughed at when you hand your card over.
