the only thing i do in game now is show up for icc25 and drink heavily during it. mostly just trying to show people how to play the game.

Whats sad is even with the 30% buff, only me and 2 other guys in our guild can break 14-15k....

That was one of the big reasons I have quit. I was so tired of failing because of stupid people.

Our guild has already decided that when cata comes out, we will do 10 man raid instead of 25, to limit the amount of stupid allowed in.

it came like 3 days after starcraft 2 was released. i thought the email was a scam at first. but it wasnt.

flying mounts inside ironforge seemed weird at first.

messed around with the worgen starting quests too. other than that i havent had too much time to put into it.

^^^Yeah, I actually left the 25m guilds and am looking for some good 10m Heroic guilds. Still looking.

That 25m was in a PUG w/ folks who said they typically do 10m Heroic, so maybe I'll check it out. I still need one more damned armor token to get rid of my last 251 tier piece.

been clean for 2 months. Left when i realized that i was tired of carrying in raids. I actually told the other raid officers and gm that my shoulders were sore from carrying all the morons. I was averaging 15-20% of raid damage done in 25s and 25-35% in 10s.

That said i'll probably be back in cata the guild is going strict 10 a team/b team model and we should be able to build a top tier 10 man group.

I'm having a problem because I live in Hawaii (okay....not a big problem) and am on Stormrage (PST, mostly EST'ers). So now I'm just doing the achievements...10 quests in Icecrown away from Loremaster, and I'm working on killing the Northrend elite rares.

Anyone know of any pacific or PST-based guilds?

I play on stormrage (alliance). I played there since december, but i transferred my char to maelstrom to play with my bro for a while but i came back recently. ^^ Does anyone remember how soon before LK the 3.0 patch dropped? Everything seems to point to 4.0 coming on the scene near the middle of this month and a whole month and a half seems like a long time to have all of the changes yet no new content.

the pre-expansion patches typically drop about a month before release (thats how it was with 2.0 and 3.0). In this case there are actually 2 pre-expansion patches: 4.0.1 and 4.0.3.

4.0.1 is releasing all the new talent/spell changes, the new class combinations, and the stat changes. This will take a bit for everyone to get used to and give everyone a chance to play around with different combinations to prepare for the xpac.

4.0.3 is releasing the actual "cataclysm" event where azeroth will be transformed and there will be special pre-expansion events happening around azeroth to participate in. I assume this will be released around first week of november.

Yep.... 4.0.1 is going to fuck the guilds that actually still raid. These new skills will blow at lvl 80. For example, I'm a fury warrior and will not be able to get deep wounds until lv 85 now. I 100% top meters on HM LK because of my cleave damage to spirits/valks. With the changes to WW/Cleave and trees, I will be lucky to pull 10k on that fight. That, coupled with ArP being removed just shows that Blizz really didn't think about the people that are actually still raiding. My guild is trying to get everyone an invincible/mim's head, so we are still at it.

Also got HM RS last night in the 2nd night of attempts on him. We normally don't even go there because we raid 1 night a week, but we bought an ICC instance so we went in, killed LK and went to Uld, then went over and 5 shot that fool. Was quite nice.

Don't forget icc 10/25 man will share bosses (not loot). So if you clear everything in one night in your 25, you won't be able to kill anything in 10 man.

Glad I just got my meta drake from icc. Rest of the guild is fuccckeedddd.

Is anyone else reading the new badge to Justice Point conversion to mean that once the patch hits all you need is enough Triumph badges and you can buy a full set of tier 10?

Yeah but how much is enough? Last I saw the conversion rates it was in the thousands of triumph badges. Also, I already have a full set of T10.25.

Also, we'll be replacing our T10 with quest greens in 2 months any way.

That was under the old conversion. They recently updated it to like 11.58 JP per badge and the cap is 4000. The math came out to like 345-346 badges for the soft cap in 4.0.1 and then when Cata launches, anything over 4k will be straight up gold (silver). And while I agree that tier 10 will likely be replaced quickly, we all know from leveling alts how much easier it was doing Northrend in our tier 6 versus just hitting 68 and rocking whatever level 60 blues we still had from Ramps.

Oh, they fixed the prices too so they normalize back to about the same. But the conversion rate for frost badges is exactly the same as triumph badges. That's kinda messed up.

Yeah, it seemed a little strange to me to given that someone doing ICC getting badges is essentially put on the same plane as Joe 3.5kGS who can just heroic grind and then bust out some sparkly gear in about half a month. For the record, I am somewhere in the middle of that. Hit 80 on the paladin a week ago and I am up to a 5kGS. My guild is just me and my friend and I have little interest in allocating 16+hrs of my week ever again to raid. Trying to get accustomed to tanking just in time for pally tanking to go all to hell.

How? I'm still downloading the patch so I haven't tried them out but an interrupt, ultra sprint gap closer and mega self heals along with giant hits with the combo system; it's not faceroll anymore but it seems pretty awesome from what I've seen.
