Biden will be remembered in a positive light. He steered the country in the right direction while facing nonsensical demonization by Trump supporters and a lack of respect from the media. This culminated in an unfair campaign against him after an exaggerated debate, but "unfair" is what is reality, especially in these times.

Ironically, while it was when he started to show significant signs of aging, I really do think this term was when he really came into the progressive but measured force he was meant to be all along. While it is a tremendous career in terms of politicking, I don't personally find his time in the Senate that impressive, but his Presidency will be remembered.

^^ such legislation would have to be a Constitutional amendment. Pardons are explicitly an executive branch power, so Congress has no say in it.

As it is, I find this pardon unseemly, but at the same time, it can't honestly be argued this prosecution wasn't political motivated. One of the reasons for pardons is to guard against such things, even if it's way down the list of them.
