as the resident expert on Pac-12 bball, let me note that UCLA is not good this year. they beat up on two cupcakes then either lost to or barely beat the rest of their competition.

in the LBSU game, UCLA was only up 5 with 3 min left
the Coastal Carolina game was very tight until a late UCLA big run

I'm sort of confused about this. It's awesome that Carolina lost, but how are we considering Butler to not be a legitimate team? They've made the tournament several years in a row, have been to the final, semifinal, etc in the recent past, and have done all this in a difficult conference. Especially considering the 'early season jitters' Butler had a legit chance at this game to start. Also, overrated unc team.

Okay that does make sense. I didn't know their exact record, but I did know that they did make the tourney and the round of 32 though last year.

My sister's husband is a coach at Butler High School and his QB is signed to UNC next year. During Thanksgiving dinner tonight he told me the kid injured himself during a state playoff game last week. UNC may have lost a QB.

butler nor ucla are very good. ucla was ranked on potential but can barely dribble the ball up the court at this point in the season. unc had a bad game against butler but is a pretty good team when they are on. they are not top 6 though...
