ding 35. got a nice +5 stamina trinket from the arena in STV that could be used at 35 too just in time. that arena is nice. i hope they drop some really rare items every once in awhile. not too often but say a really small percent chance for a a few of those 40level purples or something

yeah I got the whirlwind axe

its my primary two hand axe right now, even though I am mainly a tank with my one hand and shield.

I did it at level 40 with my buddy who was also a lvl 40 warrior, so we did it twice. First time for him was no problem, we killed it pretty easily.

When we did it for me the fucker nearly killed me. Dont know why, i have much more armor than my friend, but for some reason he beat the snot out of me.

kickass axe though. 12 to str 12 to stam

yea man. the axe look like its owns from what ive read online. im excited. altho the quest i just got that i have to finish before i come back to him looks beastly. killying 30 things in stv, and then collecting all those jewels or something? and then i guess i gotta figure out where liferoot is too. mainly looks beastly cuz i saw lots of high numbers of things to gather. and they are from totally diff places it seemed to me

Getting those fucking charm things from the elementals took FOREVER.

I swear like 1 in 10 dropped it and you need 8 of each. They arent hard to kill, though i was lvl 39 and they are 38/39 with lots of elements that i have no resistence to.

The 30 troll tusks are easy. Just go to the closest troll village to the north of Grim'gol basecamp and camp them till you hit 30. they are 33-35. at your level it will be decent xp too.

i got 8 liferoot from my herbalist friend. but im sure you can get them at AH or something.

FYI if you read the letter thing that you got with the quest it tells you where to get everything

the charms i was expecting to be a pain. especially since im only 35 atm. altho i have some friends around 35 or 36 who arent warriors but wouldnt mind helping me probably since it would be good XP for both of us.

PS how much did your mount cost? and are there diff options for the type of mount you get at 40?

The training for a mount was 18 gold, the mount itself was 72 gold. I think it is 20/80 if youre not honored where you buy it. It would be really hard not to be honored in your home town at level 40 though. The thing rocks, I love it.

I have mining and blacksmithing as my skills. Blacksmitthing doesnt quite make me any money yet but I can sell mithril and iron stacks at the AH for 6g and 2g respectively. At least on the Gilneas server.

Yeah im not in a guild. i have a few good friends that are on my server, and we all varied our specilizations. i mine, blacksmith, buddy is a herbalist/alchemist, couple skinners too. We dont have a guild though, get invitations every time i log on

haha cool cool. yea i didnt really do professions with this character :-/ im regretting it now but i dont feel like taking time to work on them with this character now tho. i made sure to start them asap with my alt. i had an orc warrior in beta with mining and blacksmithing. but i was lazy and didnt get around to it with my main this time and therefore mining would be annoying. id have to run around n00b areas all day to mine copper hah.

fishing has made me some money so far. other than that im just trying to farm. only up to 24g tho at the moment.

can you buy all your mounts in org? cuz im honored there (as most ppl should be even by 30 i would imagine). only 5 more levels. im excited.

on another note. im a 35 warrior and a 40 gnome mage attacked me first(i didnt see him). i had no buffs and got him down to where i couldnt even see his health hardly(i still had 400 left) until he iced, blinked, and mounted before i could get him. he must have been terrible haha. no way should that happen. i was mad tho to let him slip away!

I know you buy the wolf in orgrimmar. I think you buy the troll mount in Zin Jinn(sp?) village. Kodo in Thunderbluff and undead horse in Undercity.

The guy in Org is in the Valley of Honor(i think) behind where the fishing guy is.

yeah i hear savory deviate delight sells well. I just recently took up cooking and fishing and by god that crap is boring to level up.

youre on a PvP server or were you just in PvP mode? That mage must have SUCKED to not kill someone 5 levels below him even though he had the surprise attack. Mages can crush if they have those things going for them.

PVP server (stormreaver) and in STV. and yes he must sucked. a mage MY level should be able to destroy me if they attack first and know what they are doing

yea savory delight, and then oily blackmouths and some sunsomething fish are worth a good bit to i think alchemists. i dono i just sell em but that and then trying to work the AH and farming is going to have to be my main way of making money with my main

who knows maybe my alt can make some money skinning and leatherworking to send up to my main. that would be nice

ive read that leatherworking doesnt get crap for money.

mining and alchemy are how to make the cash as far as I know. I cant disagree, I can make a lot with mining, and my alchemist friend is damn rich.

ah that sucks. i just picked leatherworking for him being a rogue since all i wear is leather. hopefully selling stacks of extra leather and/or the skinning will get me some money. eventually tho i am planning on switching to alchemy. get uber agility and rage potions and other potions for both my rogue and to send up to my main.

i cannot post in the forums on worldofwarcraft.com and its been pissing me off. so i emailed blizz today and said(in short form):

good deal man. ratchet and booty bay are great places to fish. as well as wailing caverns area.

WC - deviate fish
ratchet - lots of oily blackmouths
bootybay - oilys and these sunrock things

WC and bootybay are pretty low level fishing too i do believe. BB is a bit higher tho. i got my fishing up to 200 in no time. i forget where its at now. 225 maybe or so. i went and got that book in BB to learn the expert fishing. but lately i only get a few hours here and there to play so i havent spent time fishing. mainly trying to quest and grind. once i get closer to 40 im going to start fishing like mad tho tryin to make some flo

It starts in Orgimmar from the fishing trainer I believe or in that area (where priest and mage trainers are). Then you get sent to find some guy in Dustwallow marsh last night.

I have cooking and fishing both at 300 but I don't really use them to make money. I just use them to make free buffs for boss fights. Stam and spirit +12, 6hp/5sec, and 8mana/5sec all stack which is pretty nice. Then I also use spirit +10 and intelect +10 for other situations. I also make agility/stamina +10 for other people in the guild.

You can definitely make some money at upper level fishing though. I sell Stonescale Eels for 1-2g each (or make Stonescale Oil which is just as overpriced). Deviate Fish sell well too but they are not really worth going back to Crossroads for since that is the only place you can fish them. Oily Blackmouth sell well too (10-20s each) but I just keep those for myself to make tons of Free Action Potions. It turns out though, that the best money makers from fishing are the non-fish items that you can catch in the two end game fishing spots. There is a spot in Azshara that is level 420 fishing and a spot in Winterspring that is 400 fishing. I go to these to farm things like Golden Pearls which sell for 20g each. I would only recommend going fishing to make money though if you are a class who cannot make it through other means (like me a priest). If you are a dps class obviously there are much more efficient ways to grind out money. But I find cooking/fishing to be a nice change of pace from some of the more boring parts of WoW.

Im kind of in a rut. not sure what i want to do next since ive hit 40 and got my mount

There are a bunch of quests in Dushwallow Marsh that I just discovered yesterday.

but I have a bunch in arathi but they are all elite so I would like my priest friend to lend assistance.

I also have gnomergan and scarlet monestary to do, but those take so much time and i need to get a group together that they arent practical if I just sit down and want to play.

WTF? How much are Righteous Orbs currently being sold for on other servers? Their price on Doomhammer his climbed up close to 90g APIECE. That's nuts. One of my guildmates told me that he bought 2 of them a few weeks back for only 55g. Has the drop rate been seriously altered or what...? I need 2 for Crusader, and I've been shopping for them for over a week now.
