Rogues can use a macro to switch from a sword to a dagger and do a backstab. The backstab's damage is based off the sword's damage rather than the dagger's though.

You need an addon called QuickWeaponSwap, it comes with Stance Sets that you should also have as a rogue anyways.

Then you make a macro that reads like this:
/script WeaponSwap("sword","offhand")
/cast Skill(Rank X)

where Skill is either Ambush or Backstab and X is whatever rank you have

My macro reads like this:
/script WeaponSwap("Krol Blade","Heartseeker")
/cast Ambush(Rank 6)
Make sure you have a dagger in your mainhand and then you hit the macro and it switches your sword to mainhand and will ambush with it's stats instead of the dagger's.

THe backstab macro shouldn't work after the patch because they are supposedly changing it so you can't switch weapons in combat. The patch isn't done downloading at the moment so I don't know if they actually implemented it or not. Either way I believe that the exploit will still work with ambush because you aren't in combat until you hit them with the ambush so you should still be able to switch weapons. I really hope that they didn't make it so you can't switch weapons in combat because I switch often between my Krol Blade and a Heartseeker mainhand to backstab depending on the situation. I guess I'll see when the patch is finished...

Not likely--IGBase.com (which is who the Chinese farmers work for) won't make much money in China (because few if any people that'll be playing WoW there will have the hard currency to pay for gold and items from IGBase), so they'll stay on the NorthAm and Euro servers.

Ok the exploit no longer works, you can still switch weapons in combat they just fixed the bug.

I just got done with a match in battlegrounds, we won 3-0.

After you get done you can turn in your win for a token and honor, similar to argent dawn faction points.

And it's so freaking fun, they need more copies of the instances though, the wait time is like 40+ minutes to get in.

Battlegrounds is udder crap atm.

Not because the instances but because of the lag. Jesus christ I have a 2.8ghz, 1 gig of DDR 3200 ram, Nvidia 6800 GT, and i lag to hell and back.

Also latency is like 600-800 in just those instances.

If I could move around unlagged i think it would rock but right now it sucks ass. I could go to Tauran mill and fight those wars without this kind of lag.

But i have to say the rewards are godly. Hell items dropped that were better than arcanite reapers.

I have 0 problems with any other area of the game.

It's a fun game when it runs right. I'll prolly take a break and play the new doom3 expansion. (best buy has both Doom3 and the expansion for $35).

new bug/working as intended.

if you die during a boss fight and release, and dont get back in to do damage to the mob or heal someone who is fighting before it dies, you wont beable to loot the mob. this affects onyxia and long boss fights in molten core. this was typical with loot set at group loot , the work around was FFA loot but now this effects FFA.

this is also known to affect you even if you just die and dont even release.

apparently you need to watch the mob die to get to loot. still effects long fights like onyxia and some mc bosses like golemagg

onyxia is probly the hardest hit, as if you fluke die on phase one or two, and you cant get your out of combat rez team set up in phase 3 to rez in people, they wont see onyxia die thuse cant loot.

gm told me this earlier.

Got a question about macros: how the hell do you do them?

I need to create a bandage macro and i found this on the WoW forums:

/target "name"
/use "bandage name"
/script TargetLastEnemy();

but i have no idea what to do with them. I tried putting that into the macro window and creating a new macro in the main menu but it keeps saying Unknown Unit. I put Fearday in the name part and Silk Bandage in the bandage name part. ive even tried [Silk Bandage] but that diddnt work either.
