not really. I only saw part of it and it was just a random movie. He played a gay guy in it, so it didnt really suite me very well. But I LOVE HIM!!! I've loved him since 2000 when he played Hamilton Fleming on Young Americans. And Life as a House was one of the best movies I saw in 2001, but maybe that's b/c him and Hayden Christensen were in it. I just havent seen him in awhile, so this is really exciting!!!

i didn't know which "generation" or "age" of superman it is [why i hate DC]
but one of the supermans used his super hypnotic powers to convince the world that superman is not clark kent without his glasses on

and he used the glasses to amplify the hypnotic power...
i suppose earth glass can't do that
the shuttle glass can...

i forget some of the other stuff they used the shuttle for
i think they made the scissors to cut his hair with something from them...

Wow, I'm pretty familiar with comics, and I don't ever remember that stuff (of course, as you've said that's why you have to love DC -- they've redone the origins and stuff so much that it's hard to keep track of what happened).

I usually use the John Byrne miniseries as my reference for the Superman origin, it's not old-school but I tended to follow artists when I read comics more than any particular book (other than Spidey and FF). I was just curious, do you remember when you heard about the spaceship-glasses?
