sidney just called out the starting five tonight and grant specifically. gave props to ferguson and smith.

this is the first time i've heard sidney talk about negative aspects of our play at length.

When I turned on the radio it seemed he was really calling out JJ. I didn't catch the parts where he called everyone else out though. He is right about they lack of play and it has been things Lowe has been saying publicly most of the season he just hasn't named people like he did tonight. I am really interested in seeing what he can do when he gets the type of players he wants on this team and really implement his offense.

i'm glad sidney finally told it like it is, but at the same time that makes me even more pissed in a way...because HE'S THE ONE THAT KEPT PLAYING THEM!

when you play as crappy as we did to start the game you sit the entire lineup and play freaking chad williams if you have to. sidney has the balls to call the starters out in the postgame interview but not to sit them on the bench during the game when it counts?

after ferguson showed us that he's the only one who looks like he wants to play last game, why in the world did sidney wait until there were 8 FREAKING MINUTES LEFT IN THE FIRST HALF WHEN WE WERE DOWN 20 TO PUT FERGY IN THE GAME!?!

when he did finally put him in, the crowd cheered (sarcastically), and he lead us on a big run to get ourselves back in the game. THEN HE STARTS THE SAME CRAPPY LINEUP THAT BEGAN THE GAME AND DOESN'T PUT IN FERGUSON (the only player who played worth a crap in the first half) UNTIL 8 MINUTES INTO THE GAME. from then on i would say 50 percent of our made baskets (if not 80) came through ferguson driving, dishing, moving the ball, or playing tough D to get a stop. he also rebounded. our entire section was baffled at how bad sidney's substitutions were tonight.

gg on tracy smith. BUT NO GG FOR NOT PLAYING HIM MORE!

can someone tell me why javi only played 10 minutes, while johnson had 28???

i especially dont understand why johnson was in there for the last 10 minutes or whatever. javi is better, its just that obvious. and javi can get steals, and generally takes better care of the ball.

i mean i understand sitting him for a while towards the middle of the game if he's trying to send a message to him (cause hes not defending or whatever), but when were down by 10 points with a few minutes left we need our best pg out there.

he didn't look hurt to me. anyone know anything???

greatest part of the game was at the end when FSUs Ryan Reid motioned for the dude's behind us to blow him. That whole scenario made my night, despite the loss. A mom in front of us covered up her baby's ears during the whole exchange.

I noticed him getting mad earlier in the season, and he actually commented that it wasn't working and getting mad isn't going to fix the problem. He's been much more calm since...whether thats good or bad....but I wouldnt say its late.




Also, Chip fucking douche bag Alexander tried to bait Sidney into blaming the loss on his players and NOT the coaching staff by asking some fucked up questions. Sidney answered them, and Chip kept asking, and re-phrasing the same god damn questions, and Sidney almost slipped, but answered it well. I think he said that the coaching staff does what they can to prepare the players and the players had a bad night....he doesn't know if the coaching staff did anything wrong by they lost as a team...coaches included.

Fuck chip alexander.

Just heard that Coach Lowe's mother had a heart attack this morning and is at one of the Raleigh hospitals. Must have been hard on him to not be with his mother tonight.
