Decent episode, but I think that they jumped in too fast with Emma all of a sudden believing.
Also, at the doctor who wouldn't even look at the apple turnover. "This is clearly a neuro-toxin! You can't get that from food even though that was clearly the cause-effect. I won't even look at it!"

Should be an interesting Season 2.

There was an hour long season recap before the premiere Sunday. Maybe that's on Hulu. It's an incredibly cheesy show, but I really like the concept a lot so I'm a fan. Some of the first season effects were terrible. This premiere alone it was pretty obvious they have a better budget to work with this year. I'd at least watch that to catch you up on the plot so you can understand what's going on for this season, and if you like it watch the whole season.

It felt like a filler episode. Indicative by introducing a character and then immediately killing her off (the mother). Pretty much just introduced how they were going to tie henry into the current situation of things.

This season hasn't been as good to me as last season. Although, it looks like it is getting ready to get a little better.

I think a lot of the episodes last season were better because they really introduced and developed the characters... Aurora, Mulan, etc... have been pretty boring to me.

Hook is the exception. I think he is an awesome addition to the show.

for it to be hyped in the preview and make the initial title animation, the zombies were very short lived (no pun intended).

i think it's just starting to get good, but if the winter finale doesn't fully grab me this may turn in to a series that i DVR and then catch up in a marathon session versus dvr to watch the next day.
