Agreed. And The Flash was officially picked up today (no surprise). Finale looks to be epic, even the League of Assassins appear to team up with the Arrow for this one.

Enjoyed the final few weeks. The finale was pretty good. There was alot in there. Could have been nice to have an extra 15-20 mins because some of the scenes seemed rushed.

And Amanda Whaler...whew...I want her to have more screen time with them red bottoms.

Was expecting to maybe see Harley Quinn released when Diggle freed the rest of the suicide squad.

Otherwise pretty solid finale. Looking forward to seeing more of John Barrowman next season too.

I liked the finale, but not really the Waller plot line, when they bust in her operation center she says "this is treason that could risk hundreds of thousands of lives" as she is about to bomb a city with a multi million person population to contain like 50 bad guys

i was hoping so badly for a red blur to run through at some pivotal moment and save the day

but i still fucking love this show

That line was pretty stupid. But they addressed it slightly more reasonably on the previous episode.

Oliver called her when they saw the soldiers approaching the city. They talked about how difficult it was to stop the guys on the muricoru (sp?). And she talked about how if they got out of the city the devastation they could cause would lead to many more deaths and problems.

And I think the point was to also juxtapose her "move quickly with a broad sword" approach to Oliver wanting to try everything he could before resorting to what should be the absolute last option if necessary.

But yeah, that was a face palm worthy line.

damn Felicity is hot. I'm going to miss flashbacks to him on the island. I hope the time in Hong Kong or China or wherever the hell he was is just as good but it's starting off like crap.

Been binge watching this show over the last week or 2. Hated Smallville which was why I was reluctant to try this one, but I've really enjoyed it so far.

Only major problem I have with it is the show seems to have more complete logic breaking moments, relying on many people acting totally illogically, than most shows. Like the one where the medical supplies were getting stolen en route to the glades hospital. So despite literally every shipment of medicine they send having the drivers murdered and the truck stolen, FEMA keeps sending un-escorted trucks to the hospital, over and over? Who are these suicidal lunatics driving these trucks? "Well the last 6 unguarded truck drivers were murdered on the way to the hospital, and I don't have an escort either, but I really feel good about this trip!"

is it weird to anyone else that they are using Ray Palmer to "rebrand" the city as Star City (the original Green Arrow city)? I feel like I read a Q&A back during season 1 or before and one of the questions was "why Starling and not just Star City?" and the producers had some BS reason for wanting this to be a "new comic universe not tied so directly to the original Green Arrow's orgins". Maybe they realized that was really an unnecessary move and are trying to right that wrong with this twist on the Queen Consolidated takeover.

Definite intro to the Lazarus Pit. Asian dude will probably sneak Ollie in. Lazarus Pit was even alluded to by Ras when he mentioned not being challenged to combat in 60-something years.

Dumbest part to me was Merlyn just hoppin over to the battle scene real quick to double check. How long did that journey take? like a few hours?

Interested to see how much they're going to do with B Routh...I read somewhere the CW is thinking of another Arrow Spinoff, and he'd be the most obvious contender with the characters we have introduced.

i wouldn't mind Oliver taking some time off this second half, introducing the lazarus pit and using that as a side story in lieu of the flashbacks. And then use the main story line to have The Atom pick up the arrow mantle.

Read articles also that the talks of Arrow spin-off for Atom are in discussion and probable. That would be interesting and make for some intricate three way storylines (Arrow/Flash/Atom).

If they make sure Atom can stand alone in it's own natural state (like Flash) then I am with it.

I, too, think Laurel becoming the Canary is stupid. I mean we didn't even get a training montage with the ex vigilante boxer showing her gain an ounce of competence.


This is almost as bad as random mob daughter becoming the unstoppable killing machine Huntress after being given a crossbow.

The actor that played the boxer, Wildcat, actually got a full time job on another tv show. I'm not sure how much that played a role in her training. Maybe we're just supposed to assume it's continuing? But yeah, going from nothing to badass so quickly isn't believable. I'm hoping Laurel will take some beatings in the beginning to make it more realistic.

how was she portrayed as being bad ass now? she was able to get the best of 2 thugs soley by surprising them with the sonic explosion device, that doesn't make her bad ass. I've read interviews with the show runners saying that it would be a rough transition for her into Canary and she won't be nearly as competent as the others, and so far she hasn't been shown to be.

I was actually referring to the Huntress in the badass part but yeah I should've clarified since I jumped right back to Laurel. I think the show did allude to her as becoming much closer to the Canary now though especially by showing those siren grenades without showing how she got them. Or did I miss that part?
