But that begs the question, who did she do it for?

Granted, if I were a woman I would enjoy playing with my own boobs, but it would be a very marginal increase in satisfaction to have implants in there. After all, how would it affect the sensuality of the region? I digress...

To the point: I don't think a woman gets implants for herself. That doesn't hold up to the sniff test.

Again, I could see it being worth it for money. But otherwise, anyone who loves you shouldn't want to see you do that to yourself, and anyone who doesn't love you isn't worth doing it for.

I'd like to see a pre-boobjob picture of Joie to make a determination. I don't remember them being small to begin with. However...they are damn near perfect now. So I can't say it was a bad decision. I'm also not a boob guy (although I do appreciate her current ones...which is saying a lot)...so I definitely don't see the point in getting them (unless they are like the picture above).

But to each their own. I don't hate on girls who get boob jobs...but I don't congratulate them either.

she did it for herself and probably grew up looking like a 12 year old boy. at least thats the reason a friend of mine has them. neither joie or my friend went overboard with their operations and their self confidence and self worth (not speaking for joie here) is more healthy now.

I used the photo as an example because mrfrog made the comment that he didn't think that a woman gets implants for herself. Why can't a woman get implants for herself? I think most women DO get them for herself and for no one else. Everyone likes to feel good about what they see in the mirror. If you do not like what you see in the mirror and there is a way of fixing that, why not do it? Implants can be a part of correcting a number of problems, small breasts, large breasts, sagging breasts, breasts of drastically differing sizes, breasts that don't point in the same direction. . .etc. Women whose breasts cause them problems with comfort, sexuality, self esteem, and purchasing clothing are often pretty happy after they've had augmentation.

Maybe Joie is a boob girl, and all the $$ and surgery was worth it for her, even if the twins don't make the money back that she spent on it. If she loves them and grabs a few more gigs b/c of them, then they are probably great for her.

I think of it as another way to express yourself. Like all body modifications, you should think a long time about the risks and who you are really getting it for, but in the end, if that is what you want then no one can argue that.
