Spurs losing two in a row. When United did that a few weeks ago it was the end of the world. Not a peep from the media. Wonder why. So disrespectful to spurs. Going from title contenders after lucking a win at old trafford to their “meltdown” not even being mentioned. I would have loved to see how that last 30 unfolded if Lucas doesn't bang that sitter off the post towards the beginning of the 2nd half.

Both goals down to pathetic keeping by Vorm. That punch on the first goal was disgraceful and his reaction to the header was poor. Then the 2nd goal the ball literally bounced directly through his hands before he even realized what was going on.

But hey, we got beat. Congrats to Liverpool. They should have taken advantage to a wounded Spurs and they did just that.

I don't have a great feeling at all about Tues with Vorm in between the pipes. We'll see.

Another 3 points for Chelsea. Not dropping points against teams you're clearly better than is a good thing. Will be interesting to see how Saari turns the squad over for the fixture glut in the next 2 weeks. Europa League game in Greece, West Ham away, Carabao cup away at Liverpool, home against Liverpool.

From a neutral perspective Spurs depth has always been their biggest issue, with the World Cup and the latest international call-ups their regular Starting XI is fatigued and injuries are bound to happen, couple that with your backup Striker/CF just getting back from playing in 2 Tournaments this summer and its a recipe for disaster, especially with no new signings in this last window.

At least we roll out with a 4231 today. God if Dier has another match like the weekend we are truly fucked in the midfield. We could have rolled out a true destroyer in Wanyama but I understand not taking that big of a risk with the team selection if I'm Poch considering he's just coming back into the fold.

We really need a big day from Son and Dembele to make this XI work and get the result. I'll take a draw right now if offered.

Felt a lot better after the 2nd half. The team fought hard and showed some quality while giving Barca's back line plenty of problems. Messi was just on fire. It's always interesting watching players of his ilk play your team in particular. He's like a ghost out there that nobody can get close to even though the midfield is flooded.

Lloris gave them a gift and Rakatic scored a banger for half those goals. I wasn't even mad about the Rakatic goal. What a hit. You just have to tip your cap when someone hits a volley outside the box that sweet and perfectly placed.

We go on. That Inter collapse is magnified more now. I would think we need at least 9 points which would be Inter/PSV at Wembley and PSV in Holland. That's a lot of pressure to win a bunch of matches in a row in the CL though.
