Ok, so I got in but then they shut down my server :/ . Oh, and many of the problems are fixed simply by deleting the shortcut and remaking it. Weird.

Oh, and the icing on the cake is that Blizzard's website has been dying also.

Ive never had a problem with any patches

this one is no different

the game seems to run at a higher framerate as well. ping was around 65.

Did anyone see any difference in The Barrens?

It seems to me that they increased the draw distance. seems like I can see MUCH farther now

draw distance is something you control in your options.... to the extent i understand it... and do you use any addons??? they ALWAYS need updating after a significant patch.

my addons haven't needed any adjusting in the last three patches, at least. i've had no problems with the latest patch, though to be fair i only logged in for about half an hour tonight (my chars are all on Medivh for reference, since it seems the problems are mostly server-specific for a smallish number of servers).

lol i use so many damn addons i can't play the game without them.... these are't those cheap cheating macros like shamans auto purge either. prolly my favorite one is auctioneer, all you have to do is every once in a while when you are in the AH just let it scan teh AH and after a few scans over a few days, you will get average prices for stuff. then when you hover over your items you know exactly how much it's worth.

today after the patch iwas logged out of all chat channels i figured out after a long period of no one talking
i finally figured it out when i went to talk to someone and nothing appeared hah. no idea why. i had to readd everything plus whisper and guild and party etc

Mages are probably the best offensive class in game for CTF. Sheep, counterspell, arcane explosion, etc all are great in CTF.

mages are probably the most tricky class to fight in pvp.... poly, HUGE burst damage, and powerful AoE. however, druids should never lose to them 1v1.. morphing completly negates poly. you just stand right where you are and let them hit you for 30 secs with all they got while you just stay in caster and meele them... then just keep your self healed till they oom then kill them. druids can heal wayyy more damage than mages can deal. biggest mistake that druids try to do is try to kill mages before they oom. you wait till 1/4 health to start healing, the CS you and you are dead

not sure... i dont' ctf at all... i would imagine you should vipersting every caster in range.. send yoru pet on a mage, and nuke the priests/mages... but my hunter alt is only 27 so i'm not really good with hunters... i just like thier lack of downtime

healing classes have probably the easiest time with most mages if they time heals right, otherwise it's just a race to kill the other guy first, and with mage dps, they usually win

Priest & Mage groups dominate group pvp, mass Arcane explosions, frost novas. In smaller group combat, rogues, hunters, warriors have a chance.

so the bottom right side of burning steppes is a great place to farm, i was doing the dragonkin quest and had 5 drops rapid fire. plus the guy i was grouped with had shitty rolls so i won them all. dunno if it was just random that there were so many drops or not.

bah i hate tuesdays, oh well I guess all my honor kills for the week will kick in at least. I got the glitch last night with the griffin where I could ride it aroudn the world and control it. Pretty funny to tell people its my super epic mount I got at lvl 40 haha
