Ya so a bunch of my good friends, I haven't seen in months because of WoW. The are in some guild called Aegis of Fire and they have become the epitome of losers. I hope you all see what you are turning in to. There is a life full of real people out there. ^^^it's an alternative form of social interaction just like any other. the fact that they're in a guild means they're interacting and bonding through shared experiences, especially if they talk on ventrilo in addition to just playing the game. if they're a bunch of your good friends, and you haven't seen them but they still get up with each other all the time, you've got to consider that you might be the loser here.

video games are entertainment and are fun to play, so if they prefer hanging out by doing that rather than going to bars, so be it. i'm in england right now, and i choose warcraft to be the way i can keep up relationships with friends from raleigh and other places, instead of AIM or things like that.

Yup... KUG (Koalition of Uber Guilds, also known as the "Pickup Raid", though it stopped being pickup several months ago) has killed Ragnaros twice now, probably three times after tonight. I got the Stormrage Leggings from the first kill.

As someone who doesn't like bars or parties, making friends in WoW makes me anything other than a "loser". I am the only person there when I work, so I can't make friends that way, and I have only met one new person through my class, yet I have met an abundance of awesome people who live in Raleigh and go to State through playing WoW and FFXI. We actually have our own get togethers and dispite what you may think it isn't a nerdfest (Well, maybe a little, but they're still great people ). So I have to agree with Stein on this: Maybe your friends just don't like you.

We seem to have the cenarion/felheart thing, too... I mean, I certainly don't mind, though actually I only have 3 pieces of Cenarion... our newest druid passed me in number of cenarion pieces long ago.

Monday's MC run was shaman-loot heavy. I think we had 5 pieces of Shaman loot from the first 6 bosses (Luci - Shaz). Not a single piece of druid loot the entire run. I think rogues are the only class that seem to not get a decent amount of loot... that and maybe priest. Mages are pretty well decked out, warrior drops seem to happen pretty often... maybe hunters are a bit lacking also. And we don't seem to get melee weapons... went 13 weeks with no Gutgore, but our rogue who wanted one so desperately got Perdition off of Rag on Monday. We get caster weapons from time to time... 2 Lava Dredgers so far, one Staff of Dominance, some Aurastones, some Mageblades...

That is exactly what happened on my guild's Monday MC run. Plus we got some Shaman BOE drops.

Just do what i do and get drunk while playing WoW, best of both worlds. I use the game to get through the week, but if the opportunity arises to go out on the weekends and have fun ill hop out of WoW, unless im in a BG....then real life has to wait

woooohoooo i finally quit WoW!!! that shit wasn't easy.. i told myself i could quit anytime.. but inevitably i would end up in MC every damn night.

i recommend quitting.. now i'm able to play the multitude of games that i had passed up for the past 6 months. this way, i still sit in front of my computer, but at least now i can buy an extra case of beer each month..

56 almost 57 with my Warlock. I have been on four Baron runs so far and today run #1 got my pants from Baron, run #2 tonight dropped my sandals! Freakin Hottness. I already bought the three BoE's so now I just need the robe, mantle, and freaky hood that makes me look spooky. I also got the Tribunal Cape and the nifty casters shoulders from there the other day, so I am set on lewts for a bit and can focus on leveling to 58+.
