I was in high school (freshman) and IIRC it was a week night game at 9pm. And my dad had tickets but I couldn't go since it was a late game.

Rushing because of a comeback against a not highly ranked team was stupid. Especially since it was iirc just after beating number one ranked duke.

I was at both games, rushed duke, laughed at the 40 people on the court after the wake game.

Never got to rush the basketball court during my time at State. Was there and got to be part of the group carrying the goalpost out after the '98 FSU win. I gave up shortly after we got outside the stadium as I realized none of the other people I came with were carrying it as well and I was concerned I'd lose my ride home

When we beat Syracuse and Donovan McNabb a couple weeks later, our group did not partake in the field rushing as it seemed unncessary considering that the FSU game was bigger and so recent. Still cannot believe we fucking lost to Baylor in between those games. Who agreed for us to go play in Waco anyway? K-State shit I guess.

I still have my 1998 NC State Football poster with Torry Holt. Big plays, big days!
