In addition to improving lore and end game bosses, they need to definitely redesign the pvp system.

I'm sorry I'm so hung up about this but I think there should be more raid's organized to take out faction bosses.

Shit, in general I have no problems with battlegrounds hogging all the PVP. Would I rather have to run around aimlessly around the world looking for alliance to kill or be able to click a static NPC in the middle of a major city and get it whenever I want, the answer is pretty easy. The problem is with unbalanced servers like Mal'Ganis where it's just ridiculously hard to get into an AV or WSG. You literally have to queue up at 12PM to get into an AV that doesn't start till 4PM. And now that alliance have realized that they can queue up an organized 40 man guild group anytime they want and get a 40 man horde pubbie group, the AV you do get into ends up being a waste of time. WSG is a little better but you're still lucky to get more than 2-3 games in a row before you have to start waiting 30 min. to and hour between games. Now, if they opened cross-server battlegrounds, it would be gameover, I wouldn't have a damn thing to complain about ever again when it comes to PVP.

Good Warlock spec is Affliction for soloing. Dots plus voidwalker. Gets dots to an instant cast and use life drain to attack and then life tap to replenish mana. Nightfall is a god send. Once you get to 60 you will want to respec again to a good balance of Affliction and Destruction to beef up your crit % because in raids you become a shadow bolt flinger and most mobs die before dots would be optimized.

As for lock lock'spec I'm very undecided right now. I'm almost entirely down Destruction with a couple of affliction and demon thrown in but the more I pvp the more I'm thinking about respecing towards more affliction.

Its a bit of a trade off. Do you want to be able to kill anyone 1v1, or do you want to deal the most damage in groups?

Once I get a group of people I can consistently rely on, I'm going to go down dest. till I get ruin and spend the rest in affliction. If that works out well, I might go and respec to even further affliction. I won't become the killing blow hero of a BG, but I'll be able to dish out more damage then anyone else and it would make a very big difference in otherwise equal matched battles.

^The man speaks the truth. My video card blows so I haven't done any PvP. I have up to ruin now in destruction and the rest still in affliction. My crits are usually around 20+% and when ruin procs I tend to make tanks have to work. It's a great build for higher end runs.

For my lock, I've gone completely destruction except a few points in demon. You'll want the -5% spirt -> 15% Stamina. I also maxed out improved imp for now b/c that is what ppl ask for in groups and raid type situations. In destruction, I have up to Conflagrate, which is pretty useless until next patch when it is instant cast. When they fix it, it should be better than shadowbolt b/c immolate has less cast time and you can immediately follow it with a conflagrate.

Yea those to would actually make a pretty nasty combo.

Apparently, at one point or another HoT is supposed to be insta cast as well. Don't remember how valid that rumor was though.

I thought about respeccing to total destruction when I heard about Conflag, but my final thinking against it was that if I wanted to be a fireflinger then I'd play a mage. Plus, since I am still bound to the set bonuses of Dreadmist that give me +2% crit chance with shadow I think my damage is optimized in my current setup.

w00t...now that i respect completely to marksman I crit at around 1000 with aimed shot about 400 with spells and i'm only lvl 44 can't wait for 60. and getting scatter shot has been the best thing ever for PvP for me.

Welcome to the insanity.

I am sad to say that I have my drive to play at the moment. I got all of my Dreadmist now, and my guild isn't in the position to run MC or anything above Baron. Idealy I would like to build another lock in a situation that would allow me to run MC and BWL as well as being among friendly people. Nothing against the awesome people in my guild who I am real life friends with, but for the vast amount of time I can devote to this game I want to be able to maximize my potential.
