If 1.8 comes out before December I'm going to have such a hard time not coming out of "hibernation" early... I want to play around with the new talent trees.

But I doubt any feral or balance speccing I do will last... I have the gear to play some sort of crazy bear druid... but I know my role. Innervate Malthrin!

That was apparently the breaking point for the first takedown of Hakkar on Hellscream -- they tried a few times, got to 6% once... but the second druid respecced out of feral so he'd have innervate and they took him down no problem. Even got http://thottbot.com/?i=51823.

^^ nice. yea i was in the hinterlands questing today. started with 30xp and got to 60k in about 2 hours. got tons of xp working with my friend grinding and questing for 2 hrs straight then turned in 5 quests for around 4900 each all within about 15 seconds of each other. it was fast xp. im about halfway to 48 already

The only reason they are doing this is because of those stupid MD shadowbolt builds that can do insane dmg. I mean, dammit, what a stupid fucking build for ppl to use and now we are getting a nerf because of it. Terrific build if it is a duel and you are fighting something other than a Shaman or Warrior or Hunter (well, thats half the classes), but otherwise it is so useless.

"Durr . . . watch as I hopelessly try to cast a spell while you cancel me out and make my 1.5-2 sec cast take 6 seconds . . . or until you cancel it or kill me!"

And making Death Coil our escape spell is just not enough. I want something to stop getting spell cancelled. All DD spells take 1-2 seconds to cast. How about giving us a destruction talent that gives . . . say . . . 25% chance to avoid spell interruption on all destruction spells? Affliction can make Corruption instant, so why not?

And what about fucking Searing Pain! Thats exactly what I need! A single target spell that does less dmg than Immolate, takes longer to cast, and takes up an entire talent in the Warlock destruction tree to itself. Oh, did I mention that it causes a large amount of threat and brags about it? How about lowering the threat, adding more dmg, higher mana cost, and adding it to the talent that lowers the cast time of shadowbolt and immolate? Or give it a stun or knockback component! Something. Plz make the spell make sense.

i spent about 100 gold and lvled from 100 alch to 300 alch :-D but now that i dinged 50 i cant afford training. although my elixirs sell for about 3-5gold each on AH. (intellect and agility) so i should be able to train by the time i hit 51.

it aint worth to burn 100g on alch. theres tons of competition, it keeps prices low.

time is better spent on gathering proffesions.

yea i didnt even start any professions until like level 42 haha.but i picked up mining which has been fairly easy to level so far. but im not in areas where i can mine tin and silver much anymore which is what i need to get to to get up to iron so it slowed down some.

the other i have is just enchanting and i only use it to disenchant stuff atm

PS i should get grun today i never really did any pvp besides world pvp that had to happen and a handful of wsg games back over the summer. but i did some ab last week and this past week so i could get the grunk trinket

^They usually come up any time between 12 - 2 our time. Just depends if they are doing a lot of work or not.

Well not quite.

You have to realize that shadowbolt and shadowburn are pretty much the same at 60 with one being an instant. I think people cried more at 2500! instant hits then the 6000 or so Shadowbolts tossed about in instances.

Regardless its stupid that we still don't get an instant escape spell.

A rank a week is about average for a non guildy.

You would have to net a lot of HP, and your faction as whole gain a lot of points, to skip multiple levels.

hmm, i just figured i was going kinda fast because two weeks ago i only got 6,000 honor or so and went straight from corporal to sergeant major. 6,000 was also good enough to give me a standing of 18, and the same amount this week got me standing of 70 i think. it seems not a lot of people do pvp on greymane.

Well, that is what Death Coil is supposed to be. They gave it a 3-5 sec fear component. But really, its sort of just throwing us a small biscuit when we need a small meal.

And I actually didnt think about the shadowburn component to shadow-locks. I guess thats where ppl are using tons of shards.

Its not a BG escape spell with the 2 minute cool down. That needs to be 30 seconds or 1 minute.

6,000 honor- By comparison, on Mal'ganis 150000 honor will net you a standing of 20-30.

good gosh 6,000 honor and you were 70th and jumped multiple levels????? yea your server must have like NO pvp haha. nothing against you! im just shocked

on stormreaver (one of the heaviest pvp servers) it took me 2 weeks in a row of around 7k just to jump from scout(rank1) to grunt(rank2) and im only about a quarter into grunt haha.

with 7,000 honor i didnt even break the top 1000 last week and got like 994 this week i think

^^^^ haha, my n00bness has been exposed. but yeah, there is not much pvp at all on greymane (like i can compare it to anything anyway), i was lucky to get into one AB a night if i stayed in the queue all night. weekends it picks up, maybe 3 battles if im lucky.
