I don't know that there's any kind of special significance, other than as control vaults they will be the first ones into the wasteland.

In every other fallout, including Fallout 1 that took place 80 years after the bombs, there were already large and well established settlements. I assume in this one there won't be.

Seems like it'll be online. Apparently Vault 76 features a lot in the lore? So instead of a lone member of a single vault out in the wastes for whatever reason you'll be one of many...at least that's how it'd make sense narratively.

Fallout 76 is actually not too horrible now. The NPCs and quests they added are pretty solid and the map is actually great.

Still it's an MMO so if you aren't looking for that it's not what you want.

I'm watching the TV show and there is a major difference be the game and the show that I don't appreciate: Lucy doesn't pick up every single little piece of junk and look in every cupboard and cubby for more junk. What is thee is something that would be used in ep 9???
