But I have been waiting for a large instance for horde and alliance to work together. Also, seems like a lot of content ot open at once. Hope they are up ot the challenge.

my char has that biznick's scope, and a guildie i let use my account (i quit at beginning of summer) sells each scope for 75g + mats since they work for melee (isn't supposed to). shattered hand, free to anyone that needs it here, mats and all.

Just for the record, I believe the original TWW guild on Mal'Ganis was <Exile> not <Grog Addicts> or whatever else you may be referring to. The guild lasted while people were leveling up but once guys started hitting 60 and leaving to join "real" guilds then it was disbanded. There was no split or anything like yet. Some people joined Grog Addicts in an attempt to shift it to the new TWW guild but it was not really a move on the part of everyone.

im not really sure if i like the logistics of a 100 person raid

im gonna wait until details are confirmed before i completely pass judgement.

doesnt seem like any guild currently has 100 end game character players
trying to make a large pickup group sucks ass
having 20 /random for the same lewt will suck
ninja looters will increase exponentially
i wouldnt even want to try to display health and mana bars for all 100 players of the raid on my interface

blizzard will also have to go into uncharted territory as far as storyline if they are gonna release the most powerful bosses (according to the lore) into the game this soon in just the first expansion

I am working on my armorsmith quests and its a pain in the ass.

Ive already dumped 120 mithril, 40 iron, 4 citrine, and 5 truesilver into 3 quests that give me plans to make 3 items that i need.

the 3 items are needed so i can then get 3 MORE plans to 3 items I need to complete my armor smith quest.

all told it looks like ill need over 400 mithril bars in addition to other rare items to do this

You don't play on Mal'Ganis I take it? We have probably 3 guilds with at least 100 end game character players. I'm sure biggers servers like Illidan, Archimonde, etc.... all have similar super guilds.

GS has Team A and Team B for MC so thats at least 80 players.

Having an "established communication system" is pretty easy. Just script a submission box tied to your forum login session that puts your name in the appropriate slot for raid signups.

We use ventrilo.

Vent servers can have multiple channels so theres no problem breaking it into 40 man groups.

Here's hoping that the Darkwolves roll tide out to the 100 man instance. We could have cross-factional griefing of epic proportions!

Which brings up an interesting point, how do you distribute loot across factions? The Horde raid leader should be able to duel the Alliance raid leader for loot rights

100 people on TS or Vent is not that big of a deal as long as the server thats hosting can handle it, during my time with Eve I was in several fleet battles that each side had 150-200 ships, as long as their are channal commanders and people clear the chan when told all is good. Ahh, those were the days, space fleet battles that lasted an hour or two between 300 people. 16000+ people on one server with no instancing or sharding twas fun.

Looks like the realms are down, so I thought I would post here. I made a Orc Shaman on Kael'Thas and got him up to level 9. Been doing the quest in each zone, noob zone then moving out into Razor etc... Started mining and blacksmithing, and was told that might not be the best professions for a shaman, but was very easy since all you do is go around, kill stuff and if you see a vien mine it.

Question, how do I become profecient in other weapons? Im using a better mace that I bought other than the noob one but cant find anywhere to train for swords and such.

Pretty good game, will give me something to do while Im "looking for a job" lol

first... realms go down every tuesday for weekly maintenance. they should be back up by 2 or 3

second... youll prolly have to go to ogrimar and look for the weapons trainer there, talk to one of the NPCs and they will point you to the weapons trainer. after you are trained in swords all you have to do is use a sword to skill it up
