i went to undead stratholme earlier today with 9 other people, and there were no casters in the group (with the exception of paladins and druids), and magister's leggings dropped from baron whatever-his-name-is.

everyone greeded and i won, so now i think i'm gonna run around wearing them just for the hell of it.

well, got my shaman up to lvl 14 now, just doing quests and such. There are 3 lvl 50's and the server is only like a week old, everyone says they are chinese farmers. I saw one of them in Org, they are all hunters.

Been finding some ok items, got a few green pieces that are mail which I cant use yet, I got about 50 silver saved up, all in all having some fun. It seems the quests are made to lvl you up, the beggining ones were go kill 4 of this, now its like 8 or 12 of this. I bet upper levels they send you to kill like 40 of something prolly.

Can someone explain rolling for loot? Theres the need option then greed option, whats the difference in the two (I picked roll for something and the other guy picked greed and got it, should I just pick greed for everything?)

if you picked "need" with the dice and he picked "greed" with the coin then there is no way he would have won...if you can use the item generally roll need with the dice. if you cant use it but can Disenchant it or something roll greed.

but if ANYONE rolls need then no one who rolled greed gets a chance to get it so you must be mistaken

^^^^^ Most trinkets are level 60 requirement. However you can get:

Nifty Stopwatch (Level 50)
Carrot on a Stick (Level 50)
Shard of Afrasa (Level 57)
Burst of Knowledge (Level 58)
Hand of Justice (Level 58)

Those are the few I can think of. BRD drops trinkets for about every class that are pre-60 I believe.

I think every class has a lvl 50 quest now. one of the rewards should be a trinket - some are more useful than others though

i've gone through 4 or 5 different trinkets before i got to lvl 50. most of them requiered i think 40 or 45ish...except one that i got from a high lvl quest.

You can't do that.

There are no server transfers unless a server gets overloaded. The last three servers you could transfer out of were all very high pop servers to very low pop servers.

You can't just server hop.

WoW forced me to upgrade for 512 to 1gig of ram. The lag in Org/IF and any raid with >= 10 people is just too much with only 512 megs.

Yeah, my roommate has a crappy system (like 3 year old Dell), he used to get like 20 fps average (<10 in Origammar), but once he doubled his RAM to 1 GB, he gets 30 fps normal now.

im on a PM 1.3Ghz laptop (~2.6Ghz pentium 4) with 512 MB not that fast ram and only a 32 MB crappy radeon video card and i lag so much! ive never owned a good computer myself.

But i am in the middle of looking at parts and im going to order parts and build a computer within the next two months:
