This is like the quake 3 of mmorpg pk, the only thing faster would be fights in AC where mages would strife cast level 7s. rogues pretty much have targets dead before they put their drinks down to reach for the keyboard. if i could play any other class it would be a priest tho. i tried druid, jack of all, master of fucking nothing.

Paladins are probably going to get pwnt with Ye Olde Nerfe Batte long before Rogues will. Paladins are frickin' INSANE in PvP--literal one-man armies, if they're played right.

But yeah--every class has its advantages and disadvantages. The trick is in learning how to play the class and figuring out how to make the most of what you have.

You can pwnt 4 lvls higher in a warlock depending on the situation.

Fear + stoked imp + destruction spells along with a pot or two and soulstone makes soloing a warlock a bad idea for any class. Even if you are immune to fear, there other immobilizing spells that will piss you off to no end.

Naturally, A warlock won't be able to walk into any battle, like a Rogue or Warrior, and just win. We need time to prepare and a bit of thought in how we attack. Thats probably why a lot of people think warlocks are so weak. Its a very hard class to learn.

What needs to be implemented is a deterent for high lvl players, in groups, pouncing on far lower level ones. Its fun to run from a lvl 39 paladin (while lvl 26) giving him the one figure salute and constantly cursing, but its entirely different when his fag lvl 50 buddies run you down and then camp your corpse (I shit you not) for 10 mins.

I must have gotten ganked 4 times trying to quest in hillsbrad, respawned to repair and hearth out, only to find the repair NPC and quest giving npc dead. (Tarren Mill has high lvl gaurds too)

i just started playing last night, on Medivh... human paladin to learn the game a bit, but probably going to switch to something else at one point or another. lvl 12 so far, and having a lot of fun.

i decided to stay off the PvP server for my first char since I don't enjoy griefers; from what a lot of you are saying, it sounds like that was a good idea.

I played my Gnomish Mage until lvl 34 on Medivh, b/c I also wanted to learn the game before I had to deal with a constant PVP threat. I'm sure you will change your mind once you get a grip on a character class, and then you can move to Stormreaver and join McDanger's Horde army. Drop your Pally and make a character that you can use on both horde and alliance, that way you can move seamlessly to horde if need be.

Don't get me wrong, Normal servers are fun... but compared to PVP servers, they are simply a lower tier of fun.

I enjoy being killed by high 40s and 50s, because it just makes me more bitter, and now I can't wait to get there myself and do it to other people. I totally plan on getting a small group together out of the guild, probably adam, lisha, maybe quinn, maybe derk (when we're all pretty high lvl), and maybe sean (if he ever gets a good computer) and just constantly killing alliance. I enjoy giving grief to others, and enjoy knowing that on the other side of that keyboard, someone is posting on an internet message board about how much they hate being killed over and over...mwah ha ha

Battlegrounds will be out soon -- and that's when PVP will actually matter. Get out there and level, that's how you beat the enemy at this point. Get good gear, and good drops.

No one needs to be nerfed. You just have to learn how to fight other classes with your own classes. I am not good at pvp but I have seen my brother play as his druid. He uses shapeshifting alot. I have rarely ever seen him lose a 1v1 pvp. I have seen him against all classes lvl's and he never loses. He knows his strengths as a druid and others weaknesses. So for all of you people that complain about something needing a nerf deal with it

Im so glad WoW is carebear PvP. Anyone reading this who played on darktide can feel my pain. You guys dont have the tolerance yet. It doesnt matter if 5 level 50's camp me for an hour, two hours, three hours, or four weeks. Its part of the game, and i can fucking deal with it. You dont even lose anything on death in this game, whats the big deal you waste 3 minutes running to your corpse? you could die 5 times before a druid could fly from moonglade to TB. I wish people who whined over general would get banned for 3 hours, and leave people who can handle an erape to play.

Its easy to sit there and say "yea its part of the game" when you're doing most of the ganking but I know for a fact that you, Quinn of all people, would bitch up a storm if you constantly got owned trying to do the midlevel quests needed before you go to the good xp boss. Dying doesn't phase me in this game. I lose nothing but time. What pisses me off is having to do the same dumbass "gather 40 of this item that rarely drops" for an entire night because there are groups of Alliance just sitting there, too chickenshit to challenge higher level horde players in other zones.

Its also a little funny because I know you as a person and I know the exact facial expression you'd have and the stream of profanity that would come out your mouth if a lvl 40+ players made it impossible for you to quest in a zone while you were at lvl 30 or so.

Online property is also being talked about by Blizzard, as well as PVP drops in battleground areas.

I think Blizzard should make it so that players have to put a Green item into a PVP drop slot before entering a battleground. That item should also have a certain level requirement, so that lvl 60 PVPers cannot put a level 11 green item in their PVP drop slot, instead they would have to put in let says, a level 40 green item. This would solve the carebear problem, by making PVPing in battlegrounds a productive and expensive incentive for building honorable and dishonorable kills.
