If your going to buy, make sure you investigate before you take the advice of some that say live in SC cause of the taxs etc. It is amazing the difference in lifestyle as soon as you cross the border. South Charlotte is usually a good call for investment and a good social scene. I picked Huntersville cause I wanted to be by the lake, I like the people in the area, and I don't pay for gas. SC is not bad just make sure you spend some time there before you ever buy there cause there's a little more to it then just a tax break.
