Just played my first online game against some random dude. What a fucking waste of time that is. 20 yard QB drops, going for it on 4th and 20+ 4 times, every run to the outside, all no-huddle. Guy ran no more than five plays the entire game. Isn't there something in place that stops that shit?

Also, EJ Manuel is the worst quarterback in the history of video games.

^ wow, that is bullshit. Have you tried coach mode vs. CPU? Can you do it as a head coach (the regular dynasty) or only when you do the thingy which I cant of the name of... where you start as a coordinator and build your way up?

^^ when that happens I let the clock run down every single play and try to make the game last as long as possible and boring as fuck. They usually end up quiting.

this game is no fun to me. When i have less than 2 seconds to release a pass, its screwed up.

i got sacked 8 times against Wake Forest, 7 times against Kansas and 7 times so far against Cincinatti only halfway through the 3rd quarter.

I can't complete anything but slants and curl routes because i only have time to see those routes come to fruition. Anything that uses a double move is screwed.

Also, running to the outside is impossible because TE's don't hold their blocks. They make contact with the defender and then ole`, they're gone.

Definitely takes longer to get the ball off this year. That's what I'm having the most trouble with.

those are only problems when you are using a bad team. if you are using a good team the game works just like it should. if you are getting sacked you should probably audible your tes and running backs into protection. this game is big on preplay audbles. like if you see a blitz coming you need to send somebody to block it or move the o-line to that side. there is never a whole lot of time to throw in real life unless you are a dominant team so its pretty realistic.

The game is not that fun though you are right on that but its been this way the last 3 years.

Running is impossible if you are the inferior team. I just played arkansas and had -18 rushing yards. I lead 3-2 all the way until late in 4th qtr when he hit me with a long bomb and my slowass corner got burned. I was driviing to tie at the end of the game and my qb fumbled a sack on his 10 and a de picked it up and outran my entire offense for the td so I lose a game i lead the whole way 17-3 with 9 of his points coming off me getting sacked.

I just need to know what button throws the ball away

i am so god awful at passing in this game. I swear it seems like the QB takes forever to wind up and pass...geez id kill for a quick release...and im not sure what the deal is, but i have never overthrown so many passes before....wide open recievers and throws it 10 yards above him...

I say just assign OCC games. Just make it someone reasonable so WVU or Kentucky doesn't play both FSU and South Carolina. I don't think anyone gives that much of a fuck about two games that they'd cause a scene.

Also, lay some ground rules for point totals vs computer games, and remove all 1-AA teams from user schedules. You can drop 70 on them in one half without breaking a sweat. Replace all 1-AA teams with some shit squad like Eastern Michigan or San Jose State.

Yeah, we gave the pick your OOC games a good effort but it doesn't look like it is going to work out. Assigning them might be the easiest, but like Slave said don't make UK play FSU and USC. Tried to add some of you guys yesterday, but it wasn't letting me send any messages...


Played my first online game with the Pack (Glennon at QB), beat Miami 28-20. Good guy to play against: punted on 4th downs, kicked FGs when he should have... I was up 21-20 he had the ball on my 25ish with less than 2 mins, Sweezy got a 15 yd sack to kick him out of fg range, and Moose finished the game off with a long TD.

I agree the QBs take forever to get the ball off, one of his TDs was a fumble recovery to the house on a Glennon sack.

TJ Graham has butter fingers (can't argue with that), but I see that Rashard Smith is rated in the low 60s or high 50s, wanted to put him in but when I saw that I couldn't. Also, they don't have Cole in the MLB spot.

***Question: Do I haveto redshirt Watson? or is that up to me? (I doubt we know who all is redshirting on the other teams)
