We had to temporarily boost the trophy count because I guess we appeared on the 'recommended' clan list temporarily so we had like 50 players from overseas join in the span of about 30 minutes. I'll ask them to turn it back down.

Yesterday had an epic raid that got me over 400K in both gold and elixir, and now I'm upgrading to TH8.

My clan had a very terrible war this past weekend, our second loss in 8 weeks of existence. It was against a very serious filipino clan.. I didn't think the matchup was fair at all.

They had 1 TH10 and 6 TH9, 6 TH8, 4 TH7, 4 TH6, and 4 TH5.
We had 4 TH9, 7 TH8, 3 TH7, 2 TH6, 8 TH5, and 1 TH4.

Does anyone else think that's unfair, or is that normal? We got buttraped.

My #1 person ended up being a total asshole (I know everyone in my clan personally). He is a level 107 or so and was 6 war stars away from the 200 gem War Hero achievement. He attacked their #23 and #24 and was swiftly kicked out afterwards. He definitely screwed us. :/

Yea but at my level the castle upgrade is only 100k, so I will have that by the end of the day and then will set that upgrade in motion as it takes a far shorter amount of time to upgrade. I anticipate that I should have everything maxed out before the town hall has even finished as the only other things I could build is the Clan Castle upgrade, one elixir storage can go from 7 to 8 and my 20 inner wall sections can upgrade from 3 to 4. Additionally I have only the balloon research upgrade left so I am just collecting the 150k in elixir for that. Every other thing is done though.

just finished TH10. got both inferno towers under construction, as well as my lab and spell factory. it's going to suck not having any spells for a week. gonna get the third xbow next, start the archer tower and cannon, and finish my 4th air defense. plan on maxing out my wizards first.

Any idea how to get a second tablet switched to a different CoC account? I changed the Apple UserID and GameCenter ID and then tried reinstalling it, but it still has my Clash of Clans town on it. I wanted to let my wife use it as she uses my old iPad for everything else.

Aren't the x-bows glitched were even if they're set to ground, they shoot in the air with the full ground range? Or do you have to set them like that? Or did they fix it?

^^I use 2 different COC accounts on my Droid tablet, and can switch back and forth just by signing in and out of my Google account within COC. Not sure how to do it on iOS but should be kinda easy. Should just need one account tied to one Apple ID and one account tied to another, I would guess.

Anybody still in Red Terrors? I just got over the 1000 trophy hump so I can join it now.

Also anybody know why people attack you with one unit and then bail? I end up getting 18-25 trophies, but in the lat 48 hours or so I have probably had 5 people attack my base and of that 3 of them hit me with one barbarian, soldier or archer.

they hit you with one unit and quit so they can drop trophies. I'm at like 2600 trophies (Master III) and when I want to farm I'll drop down into Crystal III or Gold I. When I'm not actively farming my base will return to 2600 or so naturally without me having to attack for trophies.

It happens every now and then. Some people might not realize that in order to get rid of troops they've already made, they can either delete them from inventory (by clicking info on army camp) or drop them on the goblin map. I also don't know if there is some strategy behind lowering your trophy count to get into a lower league (maybe it keeps you from getting looted as badly as upper leagues if you have a more developed base).

its easier to farm gold and elixir in lower leagues so people intentionally drop

if you make a push to crystal league by sniping town halls outside of bases, you'll soon start to see less and less bases with easy loot to farm...but then if you drop back into gold leagues you'll have better targets again. i think trophies are fairly worthless to go for until TH9...except if you want to get to 1250 or 2000 for the gem rewards

pretty much everyone in the high crystal and master leagues protects their bases as well as their resources. it takes a lot of time/resources to mount a decent attack unless you give zero fucks about losing trophies left and right - but if you don't care you may as well just drop low. I think some clans do it before wars too to get easier opponents.

Going to townhall level 10 too early sucks ass. The available loot for attacks is NOTHING. Even with the master league bonus it isn't significant.

Maxing out walls and upgrades early is definitely the way to go. My friend a townhall level 8 is holding off attacks because he didn’t build unnecessary buildings (no dark barracks, only 3 regular barrack). Seeing level 6 Teslas pop up out of a low level base is a good surprise.

I have keep infernos on single for Clan Wars, and multi for regular. I base that on the logic that multi can stop scrubs spamming 100 barbarians and archers (I keep lossing 50% star with that). Infernos on single though, I've probably already lost if the attacker is using golumns and Hell hounds so no point. (Against dragons in clan wars though, def single)
