I'm saying that I think it's highly unlikely that he'll live up to that fee on the field and eventually will look back and wonder if they got caught up in a bidding war and overpaid significantly. Transfer fees have gone crazy with all the new TV deals that we've got a transfer fee bubble going on right now. I may eat crow, who knows, but he didn't look that dominant to me at Southampton to justify what he went for.

3 awful misses for Morata yesterday. To not even get one on target is terrible. Its so bad that the rumor is Chelsea are supposedly putting a bid in for Andy Carroll.

The Sanchez both post miss was very lucky for Chelsea and probably would have changed the tenor of the game.

I have noticed a trend with Arsenal matches. The defense and their organization is so bad that the last three Arsenal matches vs the top 6 have been entertaining AF. The United match where they outplayed us in attack but let in three very bad goals on the counter. United exploited that defense with the press early on and Arsenal never recovered.

The Liverpool match where Arsenal fell asleep as a squad for 50 minutes but again their attack woke up and put them back into the match.

The chelsea match where they probably deserved to win but the defense massively let them down once more. Arsenal's attack is probably the best but their organization in midfield and especially defense just isn't there. This is on Wenger IMO.

I would be concerned as an Arsenal fan that Ozil/Sanchez look to be headed out and there is a strong prospect of now CL football for the second year running.

Sanchez in a City jersey is going to be weird for a minute. At some point I think City are going to have problems because there is such a thing as too much depth. Pretty much everyone in their first 25 could start regularly for good clubs and players want to play.

Not sure if Sanchez' agent created the interest from United and then City briefed the press today to call his bluff saying they are ready to walk away. Either way if it is true that City is unwilling to pay Sanchez for wage bill reasons or don't want to pay more than 20 million now when they could have him for free then United need to swoop in and get it done this January.

I am not sure where to put this, but what do you think Ligue 1 and UEFA are going to do with the referee from the Nantes-PSG match this weekend. He intentionally threw his leg out at a player, this should not happen in top tier football. I believe this referee should be banned from being in charge of any top tier match ever again if not out right kicked out of football in general.
